“Good place to shop for groceries like vegetables tofu. Also, it's cheap, and there are fish, crabs, and chicken. But I am not rateing it 5 because there is a weird small that makes me question its hygiene. But I may be wrong because the small is just fish (i don't eat fish that much).Overall, it's a good place to go?.”

The staff are friendly and quick to help whenever I can’t find something. Overall, a super convenient place to shop—definitely my go-to supermarket now.”

“My mom left her shopping cart with groceries in the parking lot by accident. When she called and described the items she left, they assured her that they had her missing groceries. The person who collects the carts found it and brought it inside. They even put our frozen goods back in the freezer until we came to pick it up! Amazing and kind people!”

“It’s bright, spotless, and organized in a way that makes shopping easy and relaxing. There’s plenty of parking available, which is always a plus, and the layout of the aisles makes everything simple to find. The moment you walk in, you can tell the staff take pride in keeping the place clean and well maintained.

The produce section is definitely a highlight. Every shelf looks vibrant with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that are always fresh and neatly arranged. It’s clear that the store puts real effort into quality, and it shows in how appealing everything looks. Whether you’re stopping by for a few items or doing your weekly shopping, it’s a pleasure to browse through.

Another thing that stands out is how calm and uncrowded it feels, even during busy hours. The checkout lines move quickly, and the staff are consistently polite and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. They’re always ready to answer questions or help you find something without hesitation.

The weekly sales are also worth mentioning, as they often include genuinely good deals on both fresh produce and everyday essentials. Overall, this store delivers a mix of convenience, freshness, and great service that keeps you coming back with confidence that your visit will always be a good one.”

“I’ve shopped at this Lucky for over 20 years. The people working there are always nice and friendly. Lucky used to be less expensive than Safeway but it doesn’t seem that way now. Ace is coming into part of the store, so variety has changed. Still a good, solid store.”

3.8 Good176 Reviews

“Neat & clean, well organised and the bathrooms were clean too. The shelves were all a bit empty which seemed strange, but the employees are friendly & smiling and will help you out with whatever you need to find!”

“I went in for some tamales and rice/beans. The lady at the counter was very helpful and polite. Chicken tamale was ok, more masa then chicken (for me that's fine) Rice/beans was good.”

3.6 Good216 Reviews

“I like this Walmart as I can do my weekly grocery shopping, Supercenters are usually more crowded and a bit more difficult to navigate. Only downside is that normally it takes a while to go through check out, there's always a line even on the self check out area.”

3.5 Good210 Reviews

“This place is not as bad as other "Yelpers" are making it to be, however this place can use a slight face-lift. It's not necessarily a place to do your full blown shopping. Items that are "popular" to the so called American customers and not so much to the Brown Indigenous (Native American/Mexican,etc) yes those items will obviously be outdated. I mainly go there for the queso fresco Mexicano and purple corn tortilla and at times I get other items that are likely to be in high demand GET IT. For example I won't go to an "Asian" market to look for tortilla or Tapatio hot sauce WHY because I know at that particular store it's not in HIGH DEMAND!!!!”

“Mostly Lower to regular retail prices. But shop around if you need to be frugal. Egg prices coming down. Much needed remodel underway, so allow some extra shopping time. Temp restrooms are outside.”

“Its like safeway,Vons, etc. maybe you will find more deals. Yet your dealing with the same prices. Only reason 4 stars not 5 ive gotten some old tasting frosting from the cakes the bakery produces. Im a career baker, it wasn't acceptable. [Old Frosting over 6 months ago maybe they fixed it but I wont buy again to find out]”

“This location is by far the most convenient and they are stocked with Siracha for $6 for the large bottle. The parking lot isn't as congested as the sister stores which I am fond of because lets face it, plaza's can be a pain. I do see the employee's trying to keep up their due diligence to ensure bruised food is tossed out and keeping produce as fresh as possible.”

“A place where you can find everything, both for the home and for lovers of cooking, as well as for those who want ready-made food. In that place, they offer you ready-made food dishes. You will also find jewelry, a place where you can find everything. what are you looking for...
A very good place to find a little bit of everything, both for those who like to cook and for those who don't, because they also offer ready-made food and there are also places where you can find bakery jewelry and many fresh products .”

“The place is very good, cheap, clean and fresh products but for you to get meat sometimes it takes a while. It would be nice if they put a waiting room or something like that.”

“For some reason their French breads taste really good. You can tell it’s more of a processed type of bread but it’s still a good yummy deal for $1 a giant loaf. I don’t like how there’s stuff locked up behind cases though cause you gotta wait awhile for some poor lone staff to run around to all the customers before finally getting to you. San Jose people, stop stealing!

Also I tried their marketplace pizza near the small deli counter. Hmmm…. For $10, it’s okay but doesn’t seem to have much pizza taste. 6.5/10 rating. I added jalapeño for flavor. I grabbed one of those premade salad bag and also made chicken Alfredo pasta. Meal came out to be only about $5-6 for 4 big servings. Pretty good imo”
