“Gomes Tires was recommended to me 10 years ago by someone who said that Gomes gave them good service at a great deal. Since then Gomes Tires has saved me countless amounts of money over the years. My mother often gets questionable recommendations from her local mechanics so I'll bring her car to Gomes and they let me know what really needs to be done or not and why. Most of the time, the original service recommendations were frivolous and Gomes saved us money. The same has been true with my car.”
“These guys were great. I drove a 2015 Toyota Prius, and the car was starting to lose power, eventually I got the warning lights on my dash telling me to pull over and check the engine. So I called these guys to schedule an appointment to replace my hybrid battery, which didn’t sound cheap. Before I took my car in, I noticed my 12volt battery had a lot of built up acid around the connectors, so I replaced that first, which reset the warning lights. I was so happy that I didn’t have to spend as much money on the hybrid battery, so I called Greentec Auto and spoke to Eduardo to cancel my appointment. He said he was happy it seemed fixed, but warned me that my hybrid battery pack would still need replacement, and that the warning light would come on again within a few weeks, maybe a month or so. Well, it did. Several weeks later the warning lights came on again and I scanned my car; it was the hybrid battery pack again. So I bit the bullet and took my car into their shop to have the hybrid battery replaced, and before they did that they scanned my car and found that the ignition coils and spark plugs needed replacement, and that if they installed the battery first without fixing the plugs and coils, it might fail again at some point in the future, voiding the warranty because they warned me ahead of time to fix it. So I ran home and replace the spark plugs and ignition coils, called Eduardo up again and he said they could take me for an appointment the same day. They fixed it up in just 45 minutes, and it was cheaper than expected. Now my car runs smoothly again, with more power than when I bought it. I’m very pleased with the outcome, and I’m happy they took me in so last minute so I didn’t have to reschedule my appointment. I highly recommend their service.”
“Glad Castro Valley has an Auto parts store and it is a Depot. They carry quite a but of parts and it surprises me how much they carry. Prices can be kinda high but I guess that's how it goes. They do offer 10% just about every time on account of military discount.”
“I know nothing about cars and when I came in, I was greeted right away by Mario, and he helped me get all the parts that I needed! And he really explained everything I needed to know!! And asked if I had any questions about anything!!! Great service!!! Came back a couple weeks after first visit I mentioned above, and he helped me put new windshield wipers on!! Excellent services!!! Great attitude!!! I haven't been to this location in a while but in past visits I was ignored, or no one wanted to help me understand the parts!! So grateful I had two great experiences from the same person!!”
“I needed a rear brake light replaced and they had them in stock. Tristan was very helpful and was so kind to install it for me. It took a little bit of work because the bolts are getting old and the burnt out brake light was a little fried. Tristan did it excellent job.

“first time at this shop. very nice. In a nice industrial area. Carlos helped me with my caravan's battery issue. he tested it and it was bad battery. Then found me a brand new battery with 5 year warranty and installed it. Very cool and helpful dude. I would highly recommend this place. I also think the cheapest price for brand new battery in town! they are generous and helpful. Thanks again Carlos”

My battery died and they gave me a jump, had me drive around for a while, and had me come back so they could be sure everything was okay and that my battery health was good. “I had a very stressful morning , my grandfathers tire popped , and he gave me a $100 bill to go buy him a tire patch , and when I get inside the store a great employee helped me find the tire patches , and when it was time to pay I only had my $100 my grandpa gave me and no card , and the employee by the name of Kylie went out of her way and payed for my item because they had no change ! she payed it out of her own debit card , she was very kind and very helpful . people like her should never go unnoticed she definitely deserves a raise , she is a great person and I will never forget this experience .”

“Haven't been here enough times to offer a fully qualified review, but I've always had a fairly good experience the few times I have visited this particular O'Reilly location. As a general rule, I find the staff to be helpful -- they are not always perfect, but O'Reilly does seem to hire people who know the difference between the water pump and the alternator on a car. And they seem to train them. And this O'Reilly location meets that expectation.”

“Just to show that it is a good parts store, they have quality parts, I bought everything to tune up my Toyota Sienna. I bought spark plugs, Ignition wire set, PCV valve and Carburator Cleaner, everything cost me 220 dollars and the best thing was there was staff who attended to you in Spanish :)”
“I like this auto store most persons work here are very nice. But store is extremely dirty . Front entrance door is so filthy . I no it’s auto part store but sometimes these people working there doing nothing. Little windex and paper might be nice to keep from door somewhat clean.”
