“It was recommended by a friend to come here for locally made gifts. We arrived at 2:41 today which is a Saturday afternoon. They’re times of operation today I believe are from 12-4 PM . They were closed. Although I was disappointed I hope we can visit the shop soon since it looks really cute based on the photos. I would suggest calling the shop ahead of time to make sure they’re actually open during their specified time so that you don’t waste a trip.”
“Cute whimsical store that features a lot of curated and locally made clothing, jewelry, and home items. Every 2 weekends or so, they also setup outside kiosks along the front of their store. You'll find a lot of anime-related gifts and also Renaissance fair or DND styled clothing and capes. Prices are more on the high side, but you'd be supporting local artists.”

I find myself lost amongst her books, crystals, oracle decks, incense, different types of tarot — you name it! They have gifts of all kinds; gifts for the cooks, cocktail drinkers, game fanatics, adventurers/nature lovers, and spiritual/horoscope gifts! Be aware, everything is very high quality, so prepare to spend a pretty penny when checking out. The staff is always so warm and friendly and they offer gift wrapping! Truly love this shop, I could spend hours here just hunting for the perfect gift.”

“The selection of gifts are vibrant, uniquely designed, and thoughtfully curated. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”

“Terrific items and wonderful service. The owner has now helped me twice and has always been very very helpful. I was unaware though of a fee on my credit card until i got home on the first occasion and my wife pointed this out. I don't understand why this should be....i don't think i have ever encountered this in my life without a sign telling you about this OR being offered the choice of cash or credit ahead of time . This should be corrected immediately or just done away with. Its kind of tacky in an exquisite shop with beautiful merchandise. I will not stop shopping there because of this because its so great to have this paragon of a gift shop close by us.”
“Artisan Place is an odd name for a "gift" store. Since it's has 10 owners who are artisans & 40 vendors showcasing here, the name is appropriate. Motto: housemade, vintage(antiques), confections.. Prices posted are from the vendors, artisans. Value is in the eye of the buyer. Offerings: greeting cards, artifacts, jewelry, candy, jams, clothing, artisan seasonal decor, face masks, gift boxes, ceramics, glassware, accessories....many pics posted by Owners of goods. Eats: "dark chocolate almond toffee chuck cookies" (2) -shelved with some knit xmas caps. -name attracted me. Curious about taste since toffee usually is a solid bar not a cookie -made in home kitchen. Very sweet. Sugar, butter, palm oil top 3 ingredient. Many others -doubtful repeat. Not healthy. Staying with regular toffe. 4.5 stars. aisles narrow. Items stacked tight. Everything labeled. Didn't touch anything. Lots of items would make great gifts.. *items displayed randomly. Some have placards naming vendor, artists. Some didn't have..”

“From Tara-Nicholle's review - "totally stuffed to the gills" may be the biggest selling point and biggest gripe I have with Maison d'Etre. It's nearly impossible to move around when there's more than a handful of people in this shop, but that inspires you to look at everything more closely and enjoy every detail and the curation by the owners. They do have lots of handmade items, minimal vintage, and anything you could want to gift your friends and loved ones, and more often than note a treat for yourself too!”

“Wasn't sure what to make of this shop when I first moved into the neighborhood, but two years later I don't know what I'd do without it! They have a very well-curated selection of cards, way better than you'd find in a drug store or supermarket. They also have a constantly rotating collection of random giftable items that have helped me out in a pinch on several occasions. Prices might be a bit higher than some other places, but good taste doesn't come cheap!”
