“I love this place because it has unique products. It’s definitely understaffed and overwhelming, but that’s not just this location—it’s the whole chain. Still, it makes up for it with really great products. It’s one of my favorite spots to shop.”
“Dd's is very price friendly. They have some good quality stuff. And great customer service. Large Parking space.I buy my scrubs here too and I get lots of compliments on my scrubs.”
“I always find one-of-a-kind treats here! Today, aside from some gadgets and yummy snacks, I also found creeping thyme, a pink and a peachy yarrow, and African daisies!”
“Not just boring grocery shopping but a fun adventure each time! Very friendly and helpful staff and responsive management. Shopping here is a highlight every week. I would never consider home grocery delivery now that I shop here! Discover new and unusual products each week. I wish I could give them more than five stars!”
“I like going to these type of stores since they sell cheap products. It’s like going to one of those Japanese stores to find nice, well-made products here. They have charts that display the conversion of USD to Japanese yen, or ¥. You’ll see that the prices are not in USD but rather in ¥. Usually the ones that don’t have a price tag costs $1.75. Although that some products are not made in Japan, you can still find ones that you need at a cheaper price.”
“I love it so many things that other DDs don't have. The only thing I didn't like was 2 female workers who had attitudes very disgusting attitudes considering they work in customer service. Like why work in customer service when you act like a b..... anyway everyone else that worked there was great.”
“This store is very clean & neat. Very easy to get too from the mission. If there's something they aren't in stock of just ask an associate they are very helpful. I always have the nicest cashiers and fast services as well. Soon as the line started another associate was on another register. I always find what I came for and more. But save even more which is a plus for a single parent household feeding a child these days. My top favorite store in hayward.”
“Customer service here was good for once. It was nice to walk into a Dietes discount store and they have a wide selection of everything you want. I will return as a satisfied, customer.”

“Great selections; very reasonable prices, and the staff nice, efficient and fast! I came in looking for specific item(s) and came away very happy! Definitely will come back ?”
“Sweet workers, the prices r really good and they have a changing room to try on clothes. Plus the stuff they have are usually pretty good, always left with more than I intended to buy ??”
“I love Daiso, so this is a review for this location only and not the company as a whole. This location is smaller than most and while there was a wide range of products it felt less stocked than a typical Daiso. The low lighting made it difficult to read some packaging, I didn't find it to be very well lit in comparison to most retail stores like Target or DollarTree. Staff was less friendly than typical for Daiso, but they also seemed to be understaffed, so maybe I was just there on a bad day for them. Parking at this location is ample, there's a huge free lot, but you have to walk a ways to find the entrance and go to the store. I've been going to this shopping center for 5 years and only just discovered it was there, so it's not very obvious to find. The pricing is all listed in Yen, and they have charts to show you how they're converting it to US dollars for your purchase.”
“Daiso in New York tends to have a limited variety, but discovering a large Daiso store in California was a pleasant surprise. I could purchase a diverse range of items, and the service was both professional and prompt. I certainly feel I received good value for the items I bought.
Overall, I had a positive experience.”
“I've gotten a lot of great stuff from this flea market. There's tons of video games, collectibles, antiques, tools, junk and not to mention your every day convenience store things. There's also a great little section with produce. Takes about an hour to walk the whole thing if you keep a good pace but also take your time to look through some things. Some of the venders don't bend on prices but a lot of them will, so make sure to haggle a little! It's open every day of the week but I've found Tuesdays and Thursdays are the best days to go! Saturday and Sundays are fun but they tend to have a lot more newer msrp value things opposed to old used things. Definitely recommend this flea market for anyone in the bay area.”
“I first went here and was in awe!! I moved away and was gone for 13 years. I moved back 8 years ago. I don't live close enough to visit, but, hoping to change that soon!!”
“They have almost everything
I found stuff cheaper than other places
But they don’t have halal meat hope they will arrange it
Everyday powder milk need to arrange”
“Good place shop to avoid the pack of people at other stores, this place is organized every time I go there, a few things out place but overall a good place to shop and save, sometime you might have a little wait time on checking out due to only 1 or 2 people working the registers.”
“This is one of the better Dollar trees around. They have mostly everything you need there. But what really sets this place apart is an employee named Patricia. I don't think I met an employee like her . She's a hard worker and knows where everything is in the store. She always opens up a register when somebody else is waiting. She literally treats you like a human being. I don't think I've met anybody like her in any other store. You need to keep this employee give her a raise and promote her . And if possible try to find more people like her. Just want to say thank you Patricia for being such a hard worker. You're an amazing person...
I'm so grateful I met you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?”
“Typical dollar store in a lower crime community. Parking lot is small and shared with other businesses, but relatively safe from thieves. Panhandlers don't often come here. Store is smaller that Oakland location but cleaner.”
“The 25 dollar tag was placed there. Anybody who shops at Ross often can tell. If the world could go to a store and tell the workers at what price something is then the business would not last. Just by Marisa review sound like she was just mad instead of saying no thank you. Customers need to have better attitudes Review more for review person”
“Bought two large number balloons on the day of a party. Yes super last minute purchase bc we forgot! Staff was helpful and I was able to order over the phone for pick up within the next hr. Will be back for other party needs for sure!”
“Excellent service- the security guard gives a warm welcome-the sales ladies are friendly- very clean and organized place, accessible restrooms. Outstanding varieties of brand apparels and very affordable prices.”
“First time in a dollar tree that had more than $1.25 priced items. Like $3 and $5 which isn’t too bad. The store is new pretty sure but I’m excited to have a new one close by my house.”
“Never have I ever seen a better stocked, clean, and friendly Dollar Tree. No boxes in the isles. Everything so clean and neatly organized. I live in Martinez but will drive to this store anytime and I recommend you do the same. 31047 mission blvd in Hayward Store number 4118. The manager and all the staff there were so nice and cheerful even after a busy day they all had.”
“Unexpectedly CLEAN and organized. Carried the household items needed and also had a few other beautiful surprises. NOT exploitive in pricing just a small "mark up" for a neighborhood store.Nice owner. Recommended by lady and I will return.??”
“Great place to find the little things you know you need and the prices are outstanding if you're really trying to save a dollar or two dollar tree is your save a dollar go to store”
“Got some good prices on Larabars, boxed soups, caramel Stroopwafels, plus lots of zero-sugar caffeinated canned sodas.
Fresh cherries and mangos found their way into my cart as well.”
“First time in here & overall it's tidier than dollar store or Ross. Most things are $5 or less. I was happy with cute plush pillow, $1 bday cards, cheap snacks, fidget toys & Valentine's Day stuff right now. There's some books, cosmetics, lots of candy & toys and art supplies. Overall some good stuff not quite 5 stars because there was one only poor woman handling like everything. Shout out to her for staying polite & helpful throughout.”
“Good store. Not always what you expect but good prices. Have bought alot of stuff from here. Clothes jeans, socks, shoes, towels, vacuum, sheets, spoons, portable phone chargers, speaker, microwave, tools, hats, robe, rugs, wood tv trays, electric blanket, lantern, tent, memory foam mats, and masks, and much much more.”
