“Last night we rescued a lost dog right as the vet was closing. We called 5 places for a microchip scan and Arroyo was the only one who offered it. They stayed open 15 mins late just for us! They quickly scanned her, got the info for me to call 24PetWatch, and we were able to drive the pup straight from the vet to her humans. Doggo had gotten loose in a parking lot on a car ride during an errand run. Glad she was reunited and all safe and sound! Thank you, Arroyo!”

“I've had many family dogs in my life since I was a little girl, but my Jessie was the most special dog. I could call her 'my daughter.' She was my first. I took her everywhere with me. One day, she coughed up some blood. I thought maybe something was stuck in her throat. I took her to this San Lorenzo vet, and they told me to come to the x-ray room. Dr. Halbach explained that she had a tumor. I was so shocked and devastated that I dropped to the ground and started to cry. Since then, Dr. Halbach and his staff tried their best to get me in for an oncology appointment. Dr. Halbach was so personal and gave me many amazing pieces of advice. He tried to console me in the best possible ways to prepare for goodbye. I've been to many doctors, including human doctors, but never met anyone like him. I felt so grateful, and I'm still grateful. Thank you again.”

“I have regretfully delayed this review for prior services sought for both of our dogs, but definitely had to do this one today. Chabot Vet is always busy and inundated with clients which I find to be a good thing. It means that people trust their family members with great staff. The hero of the day for us at Chabot Vet was Hershel! Our poor Stella has been going through issues related to allergies and ear infections so we couldn't have her groomed at our normal groomers for quite some time. She finally got better but today seemed to be having such an itchy spell for which she could not get relief easily from whatever I was given at the vet. I secured a last minute grooming on the same day today with less than an hour until the appt which is unheard of for our groomers, and I desperately needed updated vaccinations. Hershel was very kind, efficient, attentive and understanding and confirmed that he could email me the records before the appointment but actually emailed them IMMEDIATELY! Hershel, thank you so kindly for your time and client service. It may have seemed like just a grooming, but our poor Stella desperately needed this help today and we thank you so very much! People like you make all the difference when it comes to selecting companies that provide the kindest and most thoughtful of services! We appreciate it so very much! (Doctors and all staff at Chabot are pretty amazing too!)”

“Dr. Kang and his staff are truly compassionate and attentive veterinary professionals. We've been bringing our dogs here for many years and can not think of any other pet hospital for our four legged members of our family. We've been elsewhere before but the level of care here is just at another level. Our dogs are not just a number to them. They take their time treating our pets and they truly believe our pets are theirs! They call them by their name (not easy to pronounce) and treat them like family. Our pets are always healthier and strong afterwards. I highly recommend Dr. Kang & his staff. Your pets will be treated like family with tender attentive loving care...”

“Always a good experience here. So thoughtful about the animals' experience. We recently had a scare with our dog's health and she stayed over night for 3 days at the emergency. She was different coming out. So we set up a follow up appointment here and in the parking lot she immediately was shaking with anxiety. Once we were in the room she calmed down quickly and by the end she wasn't nervous at all. I really love the plethora of information and help that they can provide. When you think there are no more answers they have them. A++ from us.”

“My mini poodle was bitten by a German Shepard, leaving a puncture on her right flank. Of course, these horrible things happen on the weekend! This was our first visit to Oak Tree Animal Hospital , and it couldn't have gone any smoother, from my initial call, to the Dr visit (on a Sunday)! When we arrived, the front desk greeted us warmly, we were shown into a room, where the vet assistant(Shania,I think) took her vitals, and wrote comprehensive notes on the incident. When the vet came in, she did a full exam with explanation, and discussed the recommended medications. A very scary incident( for both my sweet dog and I) was made so much better by their reassuring demeanor. I've had dogs all my life, visited many veterinary offices throughout the years, and this was definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had! Although it's 35 minutes from my home, I will happily make the drive for great veterinary care. Thank you, Oak Tree Animal Hospital, for getting us in so quickly and for great care!”

“Honestly I feel so grateful I happened across this vet. Dr Jameson keeps it very real with me and is very understanding about my dog who is a rescue and pretty aggressive. If there is ever an emergency they try their best to see my dog as soon as possible. He is always realistic and honest about treatment and medication options, and is patient with my questions. I think it is important to note that Dr Jameson is Black because I see a lot of reviews on here that seem to be criticisms of him stemming from racism and microaggressions and I just want to point that out because I think it's important to call that what it is!”

I'm happy to say I found Groveway Veterinary Hospital (part of Hill's Veterinary, I will be placing this same review on both Yelp pages to ensure everyone gets the kudos they deserve). Let me share a quick backstory on why I needed an amazing, trustworthy & established vet who was known to have aviary veterinarian experience. As many of you here know me, I have an amazing Mama, she's been dealt a bad hand and has been bravely battling Alzheimer's disease the past few years, so, as a fellow animal lover, I have had the honor and privilege of taking on the care of her 2 beloved birds - one of which we've had since I was just a little girl! Boo-Boo is a lovely and lively cockatiel who has blessed us with his presence for many years, but in the recent years as Mom's illness progressed, it became a challenge for her to handle some of the things she used to, in particular, the birdies' nail trimmings. It's definitely not something I had any experience with, and since Boo-Boo is our senior handsome gent, I didn't want to chance anything with him. I called this location and was able to speak with Britney who was very warm, friendly and thorough and answered all my many questions and concerns and was sincere in expressing my worries over someone handling Boo-Boo due to his age, etc. Fast forward to the day of his exam on 1/29/21. [COVID TIMES] I opted for a basic exam since he was a new patient to them and he is in overall excellent health, especially for an OG like him. Upon arrival, I noted there were many cars here! Several in the few parking spots (it's a tiny parking area in front) as well as many cars that were pulled in a line towards the side of the main entrance - many of which who's fur-families consisted of dogs, I noticed a couple cats as well. I pulled up and followed the instructions Britney had previously advised me on, I checked in via a text number that is posted right outside the entry and answered a series of a few short questions regarding my name, pet's name, appointment time and patiently waited with little Boo-Boo for his turn. I received a telephone call not more than 5 minutes following my text questions from Rebecca just to reconfirm the appointment details, etc. and she informed me she would be out momentarily to intercept Boo-Boo from me. She was masked, courteous and very careful when receiving my bird bro (that's what I've always called him) and thoughtfully listened when I explained how old and how he came into my care and shared a few kind words with me regarding our circumstance, which was very appreciated and demonstrated the humanity in what they stand for at Hills / Groveway Veterinary Hospital. Very much appreciated. After a couple minutes since Rebecca brought Mr. Boo-Boo in, the bubbly and sweet Britney came out to check in and make a formal introduction and welcome to me. Talk about making a connection and going the extra mile! She even asked how Boo-Boo did when Rebecca brought him in as she knew how worried I was since I couldn't go in to hold him. I stayed in the car as no one is able during pandemic to enter the building and a few moments later, I received another phone call on my cell. This time, it was from the Dr. herself! Dr. Sarah Andre was so sweet and so thorough (you know, one of those people whose level of compassion and care comes across the phone in their tone) - she was able to give me an update on Boo-Boo's exam, she was so kind to even mention that despite his age, she could see the love in his care all these years was evident as he is such a "sweet boy", which - yes, he sure is. I beamed with pride over my Mom's baby - she furthered in explaining he's beginning to develop a very slight case of cataracts in both eyes, and that he's slightly overweight, which I actually had a b”

“We went to Redwood Animal Hospital on advice from a friend who recommended them in our time of need for our 5 year old female dog who has been diagnosed with a C-Tumor and we were in a panic looking for a Vet who was familiar that type of Tumor!They were wonderful and explained everything that would happen & told us to not expect all of the answers until the surgery was complete!We are Concerned, but believe we are in the right place!”

“Dr. Bruno is absolutely awesome! She took very special care of our dog, Fred, who lived to be 17 and half years until we had to put him down due to his old age and other health issues. She always have best interests of animals & at the same rate give the pets owner viable & affordable options to help their pets health issues & concerns.Now I have 2 dogs one is 4 years old & other is 6 months & she is their primary doctor thru thick and thin.Fees are very reasonable & affordable.
