Sunbeam Motel is a hidden gem. The rooms are super clean and have everything you’d need, with beds that are comfortable and a heater and air conditioner. The location is great, walking distance to downtown and a short drive to Cal Poly. Customers praise the service; the owner is super friendly, helpful and extremely helpful, making guests feel cared for. The motel offers good internet and is a great little hotel at a great price. It is super affordable and a go‑to place for repeat stays. Some guests note rough edges, dirty floors and a window that lets in a ton of light in the morning, and parking is first come first serve. Overall, the staff is friendly and the experience is great.
Safe and relatively clean place to stay. The floors were a bit sticky and there was some dust in the room. But the bed and bathroom were clean. It is a 20 min walk from the heart of Higuera St.

Just perfect, rooms were very clean, it’s a quick walk to downtown, and the service was amazing.

An amazing location for the price. Walking distance to downtown. Room was very clean other than the floor could have been cleaner. My wife's white socks got dirty super fast when she walked on the floor.
