“I’ve always appreciated the Peach Tree Inn over the years - and the fact that they have a ‘locals discount’ - my friends and family members have always enjoyed their respective stays - and the
Breakfast Room and offerings - are exceptional

“My colleagues and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are bright (lots of lighting), clean, comfortable and have a balcony. It was quiet, we did not have any issues with noise. Staff members are so nice. I ate breakfast only, the food was fresh and tasty. The fresh home grown tomato slices were a nice surprise.”

“What an amazing value!
Everything our little family could want and done well…a pool, hot tub, fitness center, breakfast included, Wi-Fi, and friendly, accommodating staff. In particular, Des was very welcoming when we arrived for breakfast.
Side note, we walked to the Madonna Inn for dinner and had a memorable family adventure exploring the grounds.
Such an amazing value!!!”

“My husband, our friends, and I were on vacation in Monterey, and it turned into a disaster. We made a last-minute decision to spend a night in San Luis Obispo before heading back to LA. We ran into some issues while booking the room, but Kara(?I’m sorry that I forgot her name)was incredibly patient, helped us sort everything out , and even held the room for us. By the time we arrived she was already off work, but she had asked David to assist us when we checked in. David was extremely friendly and attentive. I truly feel that the staff at this hotel saved our disastrous trip and gave it the perfect ending. I originally chose this hotel for its stylish design, but it’s the outstanding service that will bring me back again.”

“For $60 a night, I couldn't complain at all, managers are extremely courteous and the tenants were pretty respectful as well. Stayed for 5 days and will definitely be returning to Villa on my next visit.”

“We loved our stay at The Butler! Picked as is dog friendly, and rooms are nice. More of the adult crowd - parking is a bit tight, & limited to first come. There’s some coffee spots and food selections within walking distance, but will probably want a car to go downtown. Nice palette and enjoyed the complimentary wine and desserts!”

“Rooms are a bit bigger than normal rooms. A nice kitchenette. We were traveling with our doodle, the refrigerator made it easier to store her food.

There is a small but grassy area for dogs to do their business.

Tesla EV chargers were the best! So nice to be able to charge like at home.

Complimentary breakfast is always a plus. A nice simple selection of breakfast choices.

We would definitely stay here again.”

“Very convenient location to stay if you plan to visit Pismo Beach and Morro Rock! The service is amazing, crew provides all details about activities in Pismo including July 4th fire works, their proactive ness helped us to reach early, find a spot on the beach to enjoy sun set followed by fire works.”

“For the special dedicated hard working women and men that covers the night shift on the kiosk. I wanted to thank you all but to my favorite person on there. Big shout out to Amy. Very hard worker and dedicated to fulfilling her customer needs as asked, very different. Keep up the good work I'm a fan.

“We loved it here! The place is fantastic. We were leaving early in the morning and the host made us breakfast burritos and fruit cups that we could prepare ourselves in the morning. We had a wonderful, peaceful, quiet stay and a beautiful home!”

“We recently stayed at SLO Brew Lofts for our wedding weekend at The Carrisa (right downstairs!), and it was the perfect home base for our celebrations. While the price tag might give you a pause, let me tell you, it's absolutely worth it!

Here's why SLO Brew Lofts stole a piece of our hearts:

Boutique Charm: The vibe is undeniably chic and boho, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt like a luxurious stay in a friend's stylish apartment.
Cleanliness A+: The loft was spotless and beautifully maintained. It felt fresh and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of wedding festivities.
Convenience King: Location, location, location! Being right next door to The Carrisa was incredibly convenient, especially for those last-minute touches. Plus, exploring downtown SLO was a breeze.
Parking Solved (Almost): Street parking can be tricky, but SLO Brew Lofts provides complimentary parking passes, taking the stress out of finding a spot.
Stacia Saves the Day: Huge shoutout to Stacia, the property manager! When we accidentally locked ourselves on the rooftop (don't ask!), Stacia answered our call immediately and helped us out in a flash. Now that's top-notch service!
If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located place to stay while soaking in all that San Luis Obispo has to offer, then look no further than SLO Brew Lofts. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the best of downtown SLO!

“We arrived in SLO around 1am; most other hotels were booked. The ones that didn’t tried charging bs “late checkin” or “past midnight” checkin fees that essentially forced us to book 2 nights.

The staff at Hotel Buena Vista were straightforward, gave us a fair price, and the room we got was clean and didn’t smell like smoke. We checked out the next day a few minutes late and had no problems.

Great staff, clean rooms. Great experience and I would recommend to anyone, especially looking for a room in a pinch.”

“Cute grounds. Cute room. Some of the carpeted floor in the room was wet, otherwise I'd have given room 5 stars.

Asked front desk if I could have a few extra minutes for check out (like 20 minutes) because wanted to grab a bite of breakfast at the Apple Inn restaurant before we headed out, and they understaffed the restaurant with just one cook and everything was delayed, front desk said NOPE.

I mean, 20 minutes wasn't going to have an impact. Anyway. Had to have kiddos wait in restaurant alone while I pack everything up.

There were a few other minor let downs re standard cust service, minor, but overall a cute place.”

“Great hotel, very clean, appears to have been recently renovated, good clean/safe location (near grocery stores/restaurants), bed and pillows very soft/comfortable. I had a minor issue with my reservation and Selena at the front desk was VERY helpful (she went above and beyond to help me). The only con: No free breakfast, you have to pay extra $. Other than that, its a 9 out of 10”

“This is a beautiful little inn located in a beautiful part of town. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable, accommodating. I had a beautiful stay.”

“Avenue Inn meets my expectations for a motel retreat near downtown SLO. The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to many coffee shops, eateries, and the downtown core. Despite being right next to a highway exit, my second-floor room was quiet enough during the day to get some work done and at night for a calm sleep. The room is clean, the bed is comfy enough. Fridge and microwave come very handy. You cannot get better lodging that is cheaper, closer to downtown, and better rated. You can get two, but not all three. That says a lot about this place.

That being said, there are many smaller cuts that prevented this experience from being next level. Room has a bit of an old smell. No vent fan in the bathroom. Blanket is a bit tough and cold. I ended up buying one from Target, no big deal. AC can sound a bit loud at night. Front desk can add a bit more warmth. And it was indeed a bit awkward to arrive after 10, make the call, and wait outside knowing you’ve woken someone up. The late checkout fee is also unusually steep. I made sure to check out on time.

All in all, legit option for a budget stay close to downtown SLO, top of its kind.”

“The room we stayed in was recently renovated, and it was nicely done. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a spacious shower. There is free parking.”

“Fabulous hotel, with spacious, well-appointed rooms. Our room had French doors that looked down on to the atrium cafe & bar. We were worried that it was going to be noisy (it wasn’t). Great water pressure, nice closet, comfortable bed (with 2 pillows per person), dressing/makeup table with bench. Shopping (including Boot Barn) and restaurants across the parking lot. Fantastic complimentary breakfast includes made to order omelets.”

“My husband and I took a spontaneous trip to Morro Bay and stopped by the motel six first but they wanted $200 for a one night stay so we booked a last minute room in San Luis At the Homestead. For $95 beggars can’t be choosers. It’s true that this place needs to be fixed up a little but I found it to be charming. The lady at the front desk gladly let us check in an hour early and gave us extra towels. There was a microwave and small fridge and cable tv and WiFi. This place isn’t gonna be like checking into a Quality Inn or even a Motel 6, but it’s a pretty nice place to stay, especially if you’re traveling on a budget. I enjoyed myself and would come back again.”

“I really like this little motel, I come to San Luis Obispo every few months to visit my incarcerated loved one and this is where I stay every time. The rooms are clean and peaceful and just very comforting and I feel safe. I do wish the check in time was a little earlier.”

“The employees at the Sands Inn and Suites really go out of their way to ensure that your stay is comfortable. I was by the pool watching my son swimming, and the assistant manager noticed that I was shielding my eyes and asked me if I would like her to bring the umbrella over to me. I didn't need it, but it was genuinely touching that someone would offer. The pool and hot tub area have lots of seating and is clean and spacious. I want to express why I rated the room a 4/5 and it was due to the layout of the room rather than the employees, who are very obliging. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker inside and the way in which they were positioned meant you had to move everything over to be able to plug them in to the outlet due to the length of the cords. I would recommend a rolling bar cart be provided or something similar so that this isn't too much of a struggle for a guest. The linens were clean and the toiletries provided were lightly fragranced and effective meaning that the shampoo was cleansing and the conditioner softening. The provided morning breakfast consisted of coffee, juices, toast/bagels, sauces/spreads, eggs, sausages and cereals. It was well presented and there's plenty of seating. There was an audible sound of disappointment when other guests found out the waffle maker wasn't working, but hopefully that can be fixed soon. The location is just a few blocks away from downtown. Easily accessible with Uber, taxi, local transport or walking and there are a lot of dining options close by.”

“I had the pleasure of staying at the Lamplighter Inn & Suites in San Luis Obispo. I had family in town visiting about two weeks ago and needed to obtain a hotel room for myself to stay in. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!Rooms: Nicely appointed and very cleanWalkability: Near Downtown SLO”
