“This location is alright when it comes to prices and selection. Primarily a plastic model maker of fixed-wing aircraft, I have had occasional luck with cool finds. Most of the time I come here for their paint selection which is again, alright. Their staff is friendly enough and their selection of parts for things like RC planes and cars along with larger plastic models for moth military and sci-fi is good. I recommend stopping in!”
“Came in here for the first time. They are now at their new address on Grand Avenue in Escondido, no longer on Juniper. The place is beautiful inside, well-lit, clean, organized, and even with places to sit. You can buy, sell, and trade cards and other sports items here. I'm not into sports but it was really cool to look around and see so many cards, shirts, hats, balls, and other items, many of which we signed by famous people!”

“Easily the best experience I had here. I needed special adapters and pieces that weren’t common and they had parts that I needed. Santiago and his team took their time helping me, I didn’t feel rushed at all. We took awhile trying to figure out which pieces or options would work for the use I need for my co2 tanks. In the end I walked out with 2 possible solutions so I will definitely be back once I find the solution that works out for me, for more fittings. I will definitely recommend this place for all your welding supply needs or any help with finding the right parts that you need!”

“I'm giving this location 5 stars because what the employees have to put up with, I truly don't understand majority of the people that come in here acting like it's some sort of thrift store trying to make a deal in a RETAIL store it's absolutely ridiculous!! The fact I've seen grown adults throw temper tantrums cause they want something honored blows my mind and makes me think that the people here haven't been to a store before or have done there own shopping. I truly can't express how such a nice neighborhood being filled with some of cheapest people I have ever seen in my life disgusts me. I'm sorry for the employees who look like they are mostly high schoolers getting yelled at by adults who should know better, way to set a example Encinitas, I've seen a grown man yell at a worker there for paint for rocks! Every time I go there someone is always trying to get prices lowered and the poor cashiers and supervisors can't tell these overgrown spoiled brats no. The workers are fine but the customers here can truly be disgusting and spoiled babies”
“My two daughters are fencing there and they love their fencing center! You can not only learn how to fence there, you also make a lot of good friends there, the most important thing is the coaches are really really good and nice! We love San Diego Fencing Center. Once you join the fencing center, you are like joining a big family!”

Saul saw to that immediately.
The next month I returned to buy a second weapon, this time, some of which is a state of the art French epee.

“We found this store by chance, and are so glad we did! My 11-year-old son decided he wanted to try Warhammer after watching a ton of videos, and we stumbled across this store while stopping at a nearby atm. Alex was super friendly and answered my son's MANY questions, going into the lore as well as different aspects of the game and model building. He has an incredible amount of knowledge, and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. He helped my son look at different kits and weigh out what route he wanted to go for his first purchase. He also informed us that we could build/paint a free figure and get a game intro for some hands-on experience. Unfortunately, the store was still waiting on a shipment of the free intro figures (and my son was still saving up his money), so we decided to come back again later. We made another stop into the store before the figures were replenished so my son and I could check things out, and again, Alex was friendly and helpful. On our third trip in (and after checking in via phone), we were finally able to paint our first figures! Alex was super apologetic that it took so long, but I couldn't hold the shipping problems against him. Even though it was really busy, he took the time to get us started on painting and really explained each step. He even had my younger daughter choose a figure to paint since she was there with us. While we worked on our painting, Alex made sure to check in and give us instructions between customers and was SO encouraging to my kids. My husband was also with us, and Alex answered all of his questions about building terrain. He was really transparent about what you need to get started and what could wait. He was never pushy about the product, just happy to share his knowledge and passion for the game. He made my kids feel amazing about their paint work, and they both left with what are now treasured game pieces. We also ended up purchasing a starter set so I could learn to build the pieces myself, and I look forward to playing the game as a family! We will definitely be back, and my son is looking forward to getting his own starter set very soon.”

“There are not many independent toy stores left but Geppetto’s really throws back to the bygone era of my childhood. Great selection of really neat toys. They have everything from big brands like Lego and Mattel products, to more unique and mindful and specialized toys that help develop the mind. Very spendy. Nice people!”
