Big 5 Sporting Goods is a traditional sporting goods store that offers a wide variety of products, including athletic shoes, apparel, outdoor equipment, and accessories for various sports and recreational activities. The store is well-stocked and features many top brands, making it a go-to destination for sports enthusiasts. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and tidy, organized environment. While the store has a fitting room available upon request, some reviews mention that the layout could be better organized, and there may be a wait for fitting room access. Parking is generally sufficient, though some find it limited. The staff is noted for being helpful and efficient at checkout, assisting customers with locating items when needed. Though prices can be higher compared to online options like Amazon, Big 5 offers a 10% discount for signing up with an email. Overall, it remains a reliable choice for sporting goods, despite some areas for improvement in organization and product availability.

This store has the most friendly staff; they always have light-hearted conversations with you when you check out. It feels very comfortable to browse around: you can touch and feel almost all products. It is a good teaching moment to show kids how to pick sporting equipment.
