“As a new sailor, I was advised to replace the existing jib on our Cal 2-27 due to wear. Before doing so, I called Leading Edge, who originally made the sail. Joe quickly determined that only the sun cover needed refreshing and that the sail still had many years of life—saving us thousands. He also advised which reserve sail to convert to luff tape for winter use and completed the work quickly and affordably. What really impressed me was Joe’s memory: All I did was mention the make of our boat and Joe immediately named the prior owner he made the sails for decades ago; he remembered the boat's electric setup, which reserve sails it had onboard; he even remembered the color of the deck. The deck! Knowledgeable, generous with advice and teaching, and a rare example of old-school customer service in the age of chatbots. I was wowed. Not for nothing, his sail loft is an old-timey feel-good to visit—analog craftsmanship at work.”

“Needed some quick maintanence on a couple of my balls and Ray took care of me in just a few minutes. He adjusted my thumbhole as it was too tight. He opened it up a little on the sides and beveled the edge a bit help with a smooth release. Then on another ball, my finger inserts were way too big and we swapped them out for proper fitting ones. Great service at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.”

She said she went all over the store, picked up several pairs of jeans once she knew what she was looking fo, then helped her into fitting room and then worked from there to make sure my daughter got what she wanted. My daughter HATES shopping and this experience made her so happy! Thank you!! What great customer service!”

I came in to have a cap customized, which can sometimes be a tricky process, but TJ went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. She was incredibly patient as we finalized the design, taking the time to discuss options and ensure everything was just right.

“I only went to the store to purchase gift(s). The one thing that really stood out was that there were no black sales people there. None. I was completely confused as to why they differ from the kids footlocker when it comes to buying the cards. I was able to purchase 3 times as many cards at the kids footlocker and I was taken aback when the cashier told me that I could have a $250 gift card. I had hoped to get as many gc's as I could get but I could not. The cashier was very knowledgeable about the gift card policy so I didn't think much of it at that time. The store was well kept. it could have been a little bit tidier but oh well...”

“Super helpful and friendly staff especially considering they were packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon. They even wrapped my purchase with tissue in the bag, which was a nice touch of privacy because I was shopping with family. The dressing rooms atmosphere is luxurious. Slight ding in star ⭐️ points because there was a lot of merchandise placed in random drawers (S,M,L,XL) that should be sorted a bit better. Based on what I saw there wasn’t any time for the staff to do much else besides help customers so maybe they should consider having a few extra employees on the weekends to help with demand and keep the place in tip top shape. Overall it good experience and their products are great: comfortable, affordable for the quality, and feel/look lush.”
