“I have hired workers from the Center many times. Always a positive experience and have been pleasantly surprised by the skill level. BTW, as of January 2022, the Resource Center on 5th Ave. has relocated to 171 North Amphlett, San Mateo.”

“Little Wonders is so much more than just another activity with your child. You get to play and engage with your child all while learning about the different developmental milestones. My child is so excited every time we go to class. Little Wonders has connected me to a community that helped me to grow as a mom and navigate all the challenges that come with parenthood.I cannot express how special Little Wonders is and I wish every parent of a young child could experience something like it. Like the old saying goes you don't get a manual on how to take care of your newborn but Little Wonders might be the closest thing to that.If you're thinking about taking a class with your child, don't hesitate you will be so glad you did!”

“Love this place. Used to volunteer there. Great place to pick up a few very affordable plants, both outdoor and indoor. The greenhouse is the best part. Open on the weekends usually around 12 PM to 3 PM. Consider becoming a member to get some discounts and attend the annual members party, which is really fun.”

“Our family will be forever grateful to Mission Hospice & Homecare for the loving care and support my mother-in-law received in the last months of her life, first in our home and, at the end, in Mission House. Every single person we interacted with was full of compassion. The nurses knew just how to speak with her about her illness, and helped us understand when she was in pain even when she could not express it verbally. It was tremendously reassuring to know that someone was always available by phone and, if needed, to come in person.. As for the aides, they took gentle care of her most intimate bodily needs while maintaining her dignity at all times. We spent countless hours at Mission House over the holidays so had occasion to witness not only the excellent staff but also the team of dedicated volunteers who support the patients. Mission's care and respect for my mother-in-law continued even after we lost her, with a beautiful end-of-life ritual before she lef their premises. My husband and I both have a parent still living, and we are so reassured and glad to know that Mission will be there should the need arise.”

“This is a larger location with three rooms worth of items. It's a little messy on the inside, but everything is generally where it belongs. The staff are nice and the selection is decent. They've got all the movies and video games on a little shelf in the first room. Valuables are up front per usual.”

“I'm an avid thrifter and this is one of the better thrift stores I've come across. Everything is pretty reasonably priced for what it is, especially compared to Goodwill and other thrifts. They definitely do price certain items a little higher (name brands, new with tags, etc.) but it's not as terrible as most other places, and still a place I'd recommend to find some treasures on a budget. The store is clean and nicely organized. I went on a Thursday afternoon so it wasn't too busy and not super loud/hectic. Can't speak for weekends or other popular times. The store is predominantly womens' clothes. They have a good variety in brands, prices, and types of clothing. They have a good mix of vintage and more "modern, trendy" brands and styles. The child and men's section is a little on the smaller side, so if you're primarily looking for that, you won't have as much luck. Though I am on the younger side, I do enjoy how this store doesn't try to cater to my age group or "trends", so they attract a more considerate customer base in my opinion. I didn't interact with the employees aside from checkout but the woman was very nice :)”

“I truly do not have enough words for this organization and the humanitarian love, respect, and amazing people involved. Each day, I keep on reminding myself that I will pay-forward in the countless ways that they have supported me. CORA Center, and their remarkable staff, are those I pray for everyday. They are selfless, operate with kindness, and I remain blessed to cross their path. It was an honor to have the opportunity to engage with them, and even knowing, that if I ever need them again.”
