My bf and I came from SF and had a little bit of time before our flight, so we decided to check out downtown San Mateo. It's a cool little city and it has a lot of Asian restaurants in such a compact location. We went to Gao Viet and would love to try the other restaurants closeby next time!

This is a nice downtown area in San Mateo!!Everything is relatively close, you have a wide variety of restaurants, Central Park, a movie theater, shopping, just plenty to do here.Parking isn't too bad here either, there is a nice sized garage centrally located.A good place to come and hang out for a while on the weekends!!
