Laurelwood Park is a picturesque, wooded area located in San Mateo. It features a playground, as well as several trails that wind through the scenic landscape. The trails range in difficulty, with some being steep and others more gentle and accessible. The park also boasts beautiful views of the city and the bay, with shaded areas and a small creek running through it. There are picnic benches available, and the main path is paved, making it suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The park is a popular destination for families, offering a variety of outdoor activities, from hiking and exploring the trails to playing on the playground.
Nice park, plenty of space, good views from the hike up the hill.

At the base of Sugarloaf, one of my favorite quick hikes in the area. Well maintained park. However, there's no parking lot, though there is plenty of street parking available as it's a residential area.

Great for a daily local walk. Dog friendly. Great panorama views.
