My interaction with TFS was fantastic. I spoke with two separate individuals, both extremely helpful and courteous. We bought a new travel trailer with a standard trailer mattress with it's tags of all the chemicals we will be exposed to. Decided this was not for us. After hours of research and discussions ended up buying a Pure Comfort Organic Cotton Mattress. Looking forward to having it for our next trip.

Miguel was awesome and provided excellent customer services to us! He spent time showing us a variety of sofas and futons that might work for our room, and ultimately, helped us find the ideal furniture for the space we need it in. We would definitely go back to The Futon Shop in San Mateo for future furniture needs!

The selection of futon mattresses were diverse across the spectrum of firmness, (natural) materials, and price points, but were consistently comfortable and free of harmful synthetic chemicals. The prices were reasonable for the quality. The employee Tony was patient, informative, and competent in making the futon shopping experience efficient and painless. Thanks for the help Tony.

Thanks Miguel, the manager of the shop patiently explained all products with thorough knowledge in different kinds of natural materials they use in their products. It’s also manufactured here in Bay Area so I feel good about supporting local business.
