“I can not say enough good things about this place. I'm super picky, I don't like flowers that look typical or like they were from a convenient store / grocery store, I don't like the same ten bouquets you see at 99.9 percent of flower shops...I don't like red roses...I can go on. I was looking for something for my grandma's birthday that looked original and unique, special and hand made. Like an actual artist made an arrangement where the flowers told them where they wanted to go and looked like an actual piece of art / a painting. I know I'm over the top for most but I like what I like and it's hard to find. It's like you're looking for small batch locally made organic in season bespoke fair trade chocolates but all your finding are Hersheys bars....and then you find this place :) except instead of chocolate, it's the prettiest flowers you've ever seen . just walking in feels like you've immediately been teleported into another world you feel like you're in a meditative state in the prettiest garden, you've ever imagined. The customer service is a 10 out of 10 (how it used to be for anyone that's over 30'ish can remember) of you want beautiful flowers every time with people to help you that can't be nicer come here. I don't think it's humanly possible to regret it. it's just one of those rare places thats good every time. Reliable, consistent, and exactly what you want.”
“I live out of town, and rely on Lee's as my go-to florist for my mom in Berkeley. They never disappoint. If you need something mind-blowing, this is the place. And here's a pro tip for Lee's, and any good florist. If you have a little flexibility, just tell them what your budget is, and let the floral designer choose the flowers for you. That's the best way to get the freshest, most lovely, in-season flowers that are in the shop on THAT day. (It's almost never roses).”

The flowers are consistently fresh and bouquets seem to evolve after I get them home as new buds bloom. See picture of what I bought for $75 a week ago. If you change the water every day they'll last more than 2 weeks.”

“Walking in my nose becomes curious, then my eyes think "when have we ever seen that before... never". Each time I go in with our best vase and ask for "whatever inspires you" the vase pales in comparison to the flowers that adorn it at pickup. We have an elderly family member living with us which causes a lot of extra work, each new bouquet is a big difference maker in our home! Best flowers and flower combos and bouquets around!”
“I HIGHLY recommend Juanita's flower shop. They did the florals for my wedding in September of last year and we were all stunned by how breathtaking they were. First of all, they provided exceptional service, they met with me and very clearly understood my vision and created a true masterpiece that was better than any of the references I showed them. On the day of my wedding they even surprised me with two options for my bouquet, and I am so grateful because I actually ended up choosing the second option and I was SO happy! In our guestbook, a lot of our guests wrote about the flowers and how stunning they looked. We were working with a budget and Juanita's figured out a way to make it work without sacrificing the wow factor. The flowers were one of the best parts of my wedding, thank you so much! “I am so very pleased with the two arrangements that my mom and I ordered for a funeral this week. We wanted the flowers delivered to the funeral home the day before because I think it looks better to have all the flowers displayed before the family and other mourners arrive and it was an early morning viewing (10am). I ordered a Blue & White Sympathy Standing Spray (medium) for $184.99, plus tax. It was GORGEOUS! I wish I had a photo of it because it was worth every penny. I was more than impressed with the arrangement and I heard others compliment it as well. My mom ordered the red roses, and I did get a photo of those. They were beautiful and fresh, and the arrangement was put together professionally, with no loose or broken roses. We did contact another florist first, but the customer service and phone friendliness was not there so we called El Cerrito Florist and I am SO HAPPY we did. They delivered on time and we are 100% satisfied with their service and beautiful flowers and exquisite arrangements. I would HIGHLY recommend El CerritoFlorists and I will absolutely use them again. I had a late order for a funeral home arrangement in Oakland.... someone (very nice lady) called me and asked what time the services were and I told her 3-4pm and she reminded me I had placed the order at 1pm and that it might be difficult to get the order there ontime but she was going to try. At 3pm I received a call from the young lady that the arrangement had been delivered. My friend sent me a pic of the arrangement and it was beautiful!!!! Thank you Montclair Florist for a wonderful job and for the prompt delivery, you made everything better by having the arrangement there. I was very pleased with their service.”

Our wedding planner had suggested other florists, but I had used Ladybug before and had received top notch flowers from them. One occasion ordering a dozen red roses delivered to my then fiancée, and they sent some stunning Ecuadorian roses (the best, if you are not a rose geek) in excellent condition. So we consulted and hired them for our wedding last weekend. All 50 of our guests raved about the beauty of the flowers. We were extremely pleased. Highest possible recommendation.”

Loved my experience from having an initial phone call, sharing some challenges I was having during the planning of my Grandma Crissie's memorial, and Amir came through. I pulled reference images and showed him, we spoke details over the phone and then I came by the shop to see him. Amir went BEYOND with how well he executed the vision and topped the reference images. I ordered two custom arrangements in advance and was able to drop off some vessels I had, since my vision was very specific. I cannot stress enough how happy seeing the arrangements made me. It brought me so much peace to know my Grandma's life and legacy could be celebrated in such a beautiful way. Amir's work was worth every penny, I feel like he exceeded the vision and expanded it with his own level of creativity and sense for beauty. This will be my go-to floral shop from now on. “I came in today to purchase some carnations and am very happy I did. I've never been here before but I was referred to this place by Stems & Pedals in Pinole. I came to Richmond only after the Pinole establishment didn't carry any carnations. After purchasing the flowers I had an interesting conversation with the owner(s). His family has been in business I believe 100 years. There is a lot of history here. He has a colorful background and is a very approachable fellow. The service was really good. Worth returning to. The price was reasonable too.”

“Priced reasonably for the quality. This bouquet cost $56 with tip considering the quality and it was entirely custom I was happy to pay that amount. You shouldn't come here if you want cheap flowers, but if you want beautifully wrapped flowers that make someone feel special. This is not for the feint of heart or those who think flowers are flowers. There's a wine and a chocolate shop next door also so do with that information as you will. This place can help save a marriage or spark new love if you allow them to create your own bouquet. The custom bouquet if you aren't sure what to pick go on Adobe color pallets to figure out which colors match.”

“I ordered an expensive flower arrangement for my wife this past Valentines Day. But a medical emergency forced my wife and I to travel a few days before Valentines to go take care of our daughter in San Diego. I called them to cancel the delivery, they said they could not do it, but would deliver the flowers at a later date. Come Valentines Day, and they deliver the flowers... Learned it from my other daughter who happened to be home that day. I wrote them and I confess I was not in my best mood, with all that was going own. The owner herself responded, apologized and promised to deliver a new arrangement when we were back from San Diego. The flowers were delivered today, and they are even more gorgeously than the original arrangement. They were delivered personally by the owner, who handed me the flowers and personallapologized for the mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. But few people own up to their errors. You got a customer for life!”
