“I am so happy I found a local auto mechanic I can trust and that does quality work. I have a vw passat & recently had to do regular maintenance on it. Jorge the owner is so kind and helpful and took such good care of me & my ride! He made sure I knew exactly what was going to be done & also send pictures with updates as they go. Also reasonably priced which is helpful ;) and the staff is really nice! 10/10 highly recommend!”

“Chris went above and beyond because he knew I needed my car to visit my husband in the hospital. My Chrysler is a 2000, he pulled off a miracle by acquiring the part, an entire new fuse box, (which was doubtful because of the age of the car. “San Pedro automotive came highly recommended by the people on the 2 apps I am on.Most people claimed that San Pedro Automotive has been servicing their cars for 20-30yrs. They all said that Mike & his team are honest people.I went there yesterday to have my car axle & other stuff done. Mike demonstrated to me how my right driver side wheel wiggles in & out when it's being driven (they drove the car while I look) & made me go under the car to pinpoint the problems. I saw exactly which parts were broken.I have no knowledge of cars, but them showing me busted parts on my car & explaining thoroughly made me feel comfortable knowing that they aren't going to just make me pay for something that I do not need.The auto service place I went to before San Pedro Automotive told me 3 problems that needed to be replaced & sent me pictures. When I went to San Pedro automotive & asked what are the problems, they spoke of 2. I then told them that another auto service place told me of a third problem, but Mike & his team made me go under my car to show me that the 3rd problem is non-existent.So any auto service company can send you (fake) pictures of your car's parts that need to be replaced. At San Pedro Automotive, they don't send pictures, they SHOW you and point exactly where in your car is the problem.Thank you Mike for your expertise & help =)P.S.If you see Mike with nail polish - it's his grand daughter's work of art. Yes, I dared ask him about it. ?”

“For 24 years I've been driving to different locations everyday throughout So. Cal. I've broken down and have been towed countless times. Today, May 6, 2024 I was heading to San Pedro from Chino for work and hit a piece of debris on the 60 frwy. When I exited at Gaffey in San Pedro my low engine oil light came on and smoke was everywhere. Tony's was the closest repair shop but wasn't open until 0830 hrs and it was 0600 hrs. When they opened they took me right in even though the lot and service bay was packed with vehicles. They discovered my oil pan sustained a crack and searched diligently for one on a 2023 Honda Odyssey. GOOD LUCK. They ultimately found one at Gardena Honda and drove there to pick up. My vehicle was repaired by 11 a.m. and I was back to work. Total time took 2.5 hours.

“Be aware that this is a one-person shop, the very best. Go there with the paperwork the DMV sends to you. It makes it easy. My wife and I have taken our two vehicles to Ed for many years. He is the greatest! I always like to visit him before and after the 20-minute process. His testing instrumentation is amazing. I read or write in the waiting chair as I watch him work in silence, checking everything, even recommending anything that may need repair attention. Never happens to us, but you might like to know. If you want an appointment, call ahead, or just show up for the best smog-check you will ever see.”
