“If you are doing a walk-in, do it early morning or after 1:00.
You will not get any help from this company on the phone or at the office with no front desk. Try using the underground parking lot. And they leave at 11:40 to 1:00 for lunch even though it's supposed to be 12 to 1.
The reason for all the stars is Wendy Munoz, she is an exemplary employee. It is indeed her merit to consider a managerial position somewhere else. I witnessed her successfully resolve a conflict with a client, as if she were a supervisor. She was able to draw more than 6 tubes of blood from me in less than 3 minutes without any bruising. Furthermore, she courteously terminated her lunch break early due to my prolonged wait in the waiting room. This was the first time I had walked out of Quest without appearing to be an addict from the constant scrutiny of my arms and any bruises whatsoever. I have been conducting blood tests every 3 months for many years.

“I got very lucky as a walk-in patient. There were 4 walk-in customers in the queue ahead of me waiting for the facility to open. When they started letting customers in, they allowed the only customer with the first appointment to enter first. There were 3 check-in kiosks. The 4 people customers ahead of me went to the other 2 kiosks, while I followed the only customer with an appointment. Luckily, he knew the process, so his check-in was quick; and because I also am familiar with the self-check-in process when he finished, I simply checked-in making me the first walk-in the official queue, while the other 4 people who had been ahead of me where still trying to figure it out. I was seated for all of 5 minutes before my name was called to be seen. So, I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. My best time yet. As usual, the staff was friendly and professional.”

“It was my first time here and I just have to say it was nice, easy and seamless! Checking it was so quick and I was seen right away. My phlebotomist Beverly was AMAZING. I told her I was nervous and she eased my nerves right away, not to mention really good at what she does, it was literally so quick and virtually painless and she was easy to talk to which helped. “I’ve been to this urgent care on 3 separate occasions and had positive experiences each time. On my last visit, I showed up at 8 am on Saturday morning and was the first patient in line so I didn’t have to wait at all! The previous 2 times I had to wait, but it wasn’t bad as far as urgent care centers go. The staff is always friendly and the doctors will listen to you without making you feel rushed. They have in-house x-ray services. The facility is always nice and clean. Overall, this is what an urgent care center should be.”

“I got sent here because they accepted Tricare, bless their hearts. I hate going to Wilmington for anything, so I wasn't expecting much at this Urgent Care. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff was. What impressed me the most was the Nurse Practitioners that treated me. I didn't catch one of their names but the one I did catch was Linda Takvorian. She was incredibly professional, thorough, and compassionate. Maybe I'm accustomed to military medical, but the way she cared for me is something I'll remember for a long time. Yes, it's in Wilmington, but this is the one place in that town I'll happily visit again.
Also, they stop seeing patients after 4:00 pm everyday, even though they stay open until 7.”
“I had the most incredible experience I walk in here thinking they did drug testing , the wonderful lady told me immediately that they didn’t have that there and called her supervisor who made a courtesy appointment right before closing ! It was 9:09 am when we signed in and there was only one person in front of us. We didn’t wait long and we were basically in and out. Overall experience; amazing and I highly recommend! “Lately, I was having to go to multiple pharmacies to get my medication's. After going for more than a week without my medication, three different local pharmacies in San Pedro did not have the medication in stock there's a national shortage this pharmacy has been able to not only fill my prescriptions, but also has great customer service and knowledgeable pharmacists, who have explained meds and even asked me about possible different interactions. I have one medication that I'm taking temporarily, where you cannot eat certain things it will have a bad reaction. I was so happy she told me to wait a day because I had actually eaten some of the foods that cause stomach upset with that medication five star customer service and five stars for having items in stock. It says compounding I think they make medication there. They also do many other services that are listed when you enter the property, it's located inside a medical building parking is super convenient. It's worth the drive to get all my medication at one place instead of driving to multiple pharmacies also, they have some very cool hospital. Type gift shop stuff. I bought a cute Kitty cat that looks like the one we have at home.”

“Very straightforward process for the DOT. Go in tell them you need to take the dot exam, pay, wait for your name to be called, they call you in, exam takes about 10 to 15 minutes. I have no complaints”

“After calling various LabCorp facilities which sent me to voicemail(Downey and Los Angeles), Natalie picked up the phone and informed me they were taking walk ins until 3:15. I rushed over and made it by 2:50. The staff were quick and professional, I maybe spend 15-20 mins. My technician was Natalie who was very nice and professional. I miss the times in which the communication was not automated and you actually speak to people. Great place to come get your labs drawn!”

“So quick & painless, or as painless as a blood draw can be! This Draw Station is located in the Torrance Memorial Specialty Center, just down the street from Torrance Memorial Hospital. Parking is plentiful, although you might have to walk a little ways. Like other lab places, it seems to mostly be a one person operation. The one lady takes care of everything, paperwork & lab work. If it is busy, be patient. You have to take your chances when you come here because they do not offer appointments. It is strictly a walk-in place. *** Be sure to find the sign-in sheet and sign-in. It is located on the right side of the 2 desks. You are helped in the order you sign in. The lady who did my blood draw did the best job. She found my vein efficiently and was able to get what she needed on the first attempt. Not only that, my arm did not bruise at all. I usually have 2 attempts and am left to bruise later on. I will definitely come back next time and I hope she will be working!! It's great to have a person who knows how to find hard to find veins!!”
