“Vera’s is a GREAT neighborhood market! So convenient to have nearby and their employees are so friendly !! I love taking my family to eat at their taco truck (MUST TRY) !! Their paletas from La Michoacana are my favorite item to grab! Love getting my meats here as they seem to be great quality and clean !!! I do not feel like they upcharge their groceries here very much even though they are a small market!”
“By far the best full service grocery store in state. Employee owned business model helps the employees and one should have respect for the establishment by not shoplifting there. Great prices, open 24 hours. The produce is good and if you request an item, they will try to get it for you. Bulk food section is second to none.”

“Aldi is one of my weekly rotation grocery stops, and being in the area for infrared sauna/ Himalayan salt lounge sessions, I needed a quick snack to satisfy my hunger.
This location has a similar layout to my home store in Cerritos, with most/all items available. Yet, it seems more sterile & bland, which could be just in my head. Like all Aldi stores, there never seems to be enough cashiers, as checkout lines accumulate customers with accompanying wait times. Here's hoping self checkout lines are implemented by Aldi.
I came in for a snack, and I purchased my snack. Aldi, the parent company of Trader Joe's, has great prices & easy to navigate stores. I much prefer shopping here, than someplace else, such as Albertson's or Vons. I'd visit again, if and when the opportunity presents itself.”

“What isn't there to love about Alfi's? I just wish this location offered grocery curbside pickup. Even though this spot is closer, I end up going to Gardena for curbside pickup via Instacart. They still get 5 stars, though!

“Today was my first time EVER in a Aldi store. And I was impressed the store was neat and clean. Everything looked really nice. Now the only problem I had things were kind of pricey. But hell what store isn't pricey these days. Even the 99cent store is pricey..lol. but I likes it and I will be coming back to shop. I just came to get hot dog buns and a loaf of bread. Definitely coming back”

They are the most knowledgeable and helpful to all customers who enter the store. They aren't there to make a buck out of the community; they are an integral part of the community and see their repeat customers as part of their extended market family. Also, this place has the finest selection of beers and wines that can be found anywhere in Central Long Beach. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will get it for you and keep it available. A great place to grab your munchies and suds!”
