“My daughter has been attending for about 4 months and loves it. She has built confidence and more physical awareness and self defense skills which will serve her well as she gets older. Coach David is amazing and is so patient with the children. He incorporates both fun and games as well as discipline and technique into each class. We are glad to find this treasure in downtown San Rafael.”
“I joined Curves about 18 years ago and went religiously for years. Then I stopped for a few years to take up Tai Chi. And……..now I’m back! It is conveniently located with parking and, with the new machines, the workout is better than ever. The owner and staff are awesome…..very friendly very helpful , and very encouraging! Plus the members are very friendly and outgoing! I highly recommend Curves in San Rafael. If you decide to try it out, tell them Judi sent you!”

“Good coaching, Jasha is the best.
Gym is a bit crowded on occasions, but everybody is nice and accommodating. On seldom occasions it can almost be too crowded, but that's just an opinion. That can be fun and motivating because of the community feel. Clean equipment. Water and ice available, sauna. All very nice.
System is set up for competition, so be ready for that. all types of lifters are welcome. I never intended to compete, but was treated fine.”
“Had my first class here at Barry's a few days ago. The staffers are informative and helpful, the space is clean and seemingly well-maintained; the class and the instructors were very clear with their coaching for the group class. The space felt very disorienting at first with low-light and loud sound, but once you get settled, it seems fine. My observation is around hygiene and cleanliness. During the class sessions, no one seems to be wiping down their equipments in between use, which seemed very gross especially during a sweat-inducing class. Perhaps there's more encouragement from the instructions to do so during the session?”
“David is literally the best trainer I've had. I'm so happy we stumbled upon him just by browsing Google maps. Two of my friend and I have been training with David for several months now and we're definitely gonna continue. Highly recommended.”
“Just wanna thanks Marcus Filly and all the revival strength staff for the incredible FBB content, I love its principles and I hope to keep practicing this style of training forever. You are the best, keep up the awesome work”
“It's a good gym. Love the classes and instructors/coaches, good mix of equipment. Some equipment is tired and occasionally the computers on the machines don't work but they have upgraded a lot.
Cleanliness of the locker rooms and showers can be hit or miss. There have been a couple of Sundays where I came late in the day and they were out of clean towels. I wish they had longer weekend hours.
I love the sauna, but people don't really follow the rules. Guys occasionally will come into the sauna in their gym clothes including shoes (not sandals but actually sneakers).
Overall it is good and they are improving, but for the prices you pay, I would expect better upkeep.”
“Thank you ymca for including my disable students at your facility. There are no other gym like this: acceptance, inclusion, patience, courtesy, respectful to individuals with disabicities and elderlies. YMCA has proved that their facility is embracing everyone. KEEP UP A GOOD JOB.”
“Best F45 studio! They have the most supportive community - very non-intimidating for newcomers! Started almost 2 years ago and never looked back. I’m feeling so strong and love my progress.”
