“10am Leaking bad on the highway. Chose wisely and found A&C available. Fast diagnostic and got right on the repair of leak in radiator cap and hose. Done by 2pm. Old pros are a pleasure to find.”

“I had a suspected coolant leak in my Mercedes GLC300 (A warning message kept popping up on the display console).
They ran all the tests and could not find any problem. The likely cause was insufficient coolant was added during the last major service a couple of months ago. Coolant topped up and no new warning messages. No charge for this check up.

Repaired a number of issues (leakung and inoperable washer fluid, excessive play in steering, very loose gear shifter and funky turn signal lever) with my son’s Ford E350 converted camper van. “What a great experience! I found Righetti online, after having an issue pop up on the weekend. They were the only shop open on a Saturday and Steve answered after the first ring. He agreed to see me in the afternoon after finishing with another customer and sure enough, he was ready to help when I arrived. “I legitimately considered not leaving a review, because once more people learn about this shop and its owner (Tony), things are going to be too busy to get my vehicle in for work haha. I had been hearing a screeching from what I believed to be the front right of my vehicle (metal on metal) and knew it wasn’t a pad or rotor and had decided it was a wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. I called Northern Stars Auto at my father’s recommendation and described my issue. Tony ordered my right wheel bearing (warned me that I might need to do both left and right, but didn’t push my decision at all) and told me to be there as early as I could, so he could get everything done in one day. He was concerned that I was driving from Healdsburg and didn’t want me to have to make multiple trips and waste my time. Not only was I wrong about my diagnosis, but Tony very quickly found that it was my drive shaft assembly that had failed. I figured I was out of luck and would have to wait days for the part and for Tony to have time to do the work; nope. In 15 minutes, tony had found an aftermarket option, placed an order that would arrive in a few hours and assured me that he’d have it done by the late afternoon. I was ecstatic, but he wasn’t done there. He was concerned that it was hot, gave me two bottles of water if I was planning to walk around town to kill time, offered for me to stay on his lobby couch and use the free wifi, for as long as I wanted. AND recommended things to go do and places to eat in San Rafael. Tony not only got all the work done, in the time that he had quoted, but also gave me a completely reasonable price for everything. (Oh and he fixed my air conditioner, my radiator and refilled all of my fluids, just because. I can’t say enough good things and I am incredibly grateful. THANK YOU TONY!”
