Trips for Kids Bay Area is a great place for bikes, parts, accessories, and clothes at great prices. It is way better than other bike shops, with a perfect price and a super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The shop is a bike dream with tons of parts and interesting bargain finds for people who work on their own bikes.
All proceeds support Trips for Kids, an amazing program that gives back to the community. It provides bikes, training, educational programs, and bike trips for disadvantaged youth. Donating or shopping there keeps things out of landfill and supports this great cause.

Trips for Kids and the bicycle part recyclery are fantastic resources. I help kids in my town keep their (often vintage but in good shape) bikes rolling so they can get around, to school, and to practice. Staff are the nicest and super knowledgeable folks you can hope to encounter.

Saw a bike via their social media channel, messaged them, they held it for me, went in, paid for it… all smiles. Newest rider in our family has a great bike! The Recyclery is wonderful, helpful, and so welcoming. Highly recommend them.
