“This store is a must-visit! The authenticity of the all products is immediately apparent and there is SO much to look at. We had planned to visit a whole bunch of shops along the row but once we stepped in here we couldnt leave! Alfredo and his staff maintain a wonderful disposition and were so incredibly accomodating. We found some pieces we liked but inquired about alternative colors at which point they ran to the additional storage area and returned with a range of additional colors where we found just what we were looking for. Highly recommend!”

“Ami is one of those boutiques you wander into “just to look” and end up leaving with treasures (guilty). The shop is full of beautiful pieces, from thoughtful gifts to curated items by local artisans. I snagged two things from Good hYOUman. Love a brand with a story behind it. The whole space feels intentional and welcoming, and if you’re lucky, there’s coffee and a chocolate chip cookie waiting for you. Don’t skip the little garden out back—it’s a quiet gem.”

“My mother and I were in monterey last week. We visited Z Folio Gallery. They have amazing and unique pieces of jewelry and statue art. The employees were great. Very attentive and wonderful to talk to. Very welcoming environment. My mother bought a beautiful bracelet and glass bird. It is one of our favorite places to visit in monterey. “I stopped in for the first time yesterday after passing it by several times. Between the Aquarium and in the same building as Intercontinental, it looks like the average tourist-y type shop and the shops inside the Intercontinental building are usually pricey. Yes, they do have the pricey pieces of art ($1400 statues), but they also have really cute hats for kids and women. I tried a few on and decided to come back soon....They have sun hats, newsboy hats with fake fur, vintage style cloche hats (vintage style, but new), and I'm sure I"m forgetting to name some. Also cute jewelry, household decor. I liked the yoga frogs and colorful glass jellyfish. They had handpainted Christmas ornaments that would be great for a White elephant or other holiday party. I'm in a wheelchair and couldn't reach some of the hats I wanted to try on so I'm coming back with someone. Didn't ask the guy behind the counter for help cause it felt awkward....shouldn't he have asked? I was the only one in the store. He did say hi, so I'd say I should have told him I couldn't reach something........ Good for shopping for yourself or gifts. Not tourist-y, and not pricey.”

“Jay Gaynor installed our gas fireplace 10 years ago. We are so happy with the look and function of the fireplace. Jay is a conscientious worker. He takes great pride in his fireplace inserts and is fastidious with the installation. We never had any need to call back for any adjustments, but felt comfort in knowing that our needs would have instantly been addressed. Jay is hardworking and knows all the options to the many styles and functions of the fireplace inserts. He is the man to call!”
