I love how personable and professional all of Penske’s agents are. This location specifically has an excellent service department, and I highly recommend stopping here as opposed to one of the third-party retailers. Mike is a mobile mechanic with Penske who helped me learn how to load and unload my trailer in Newport Beach. Erica and Marissa Assisted me with getting my truck swapped out when it had an engine issue as opposed to having me wait for the vehicle to be repaired. The truck I was traded into was given to me clean and in perfect condition, unlike the original one that I picked up at the start of my move. These are big heavy vehicles, and it really helps to have competent train and professional staff to facilitate a safe and comfortable moving experience. I can’t say enough good things. “It is not easy to find a cargo van or truck to rent one way from Orange County to the San Francisco Bay Area. So when my husband and I found this Budget Truck Rental, we were very excited until we read all the negative reviews. Because we didn’t have much of a choice, we decided to book Budget two weeks ahead of the move. We talked to Jason and he assured us that the truck was going to be available on the day we needed it. We arrived at Budget at 8:00 am. and Jason was already there. The truck was waiting for us, the pickup went very smooth and we were on our way. Jason was very nice and helpful. I’m not sure why other customers had a bad time but our experience was good. The only reason why we didn’t rate this review with five stars is because the truck wasn’t washed and the inside could have been freshened up.”
