About Budget Car Rental
Budget Car Rental offers a convenient and straightforward rental experience, with easy booking, pick-up, and drop-off processes. Customers appreciate the friendly service and the availability of vehicles as advertised, often in good working order, making it easy to enjoy their weekend trips or airport pickups. The staff, especially a team member named Doug, is recognized for exceptional customer service and sincerity, which encourages repeat business and strong recommendations. However, some customers have faced issues with extra charges, such as a fuel service fee added after filling up at a nearby station, which was not refunded despite assurances. Additionally, there is concern about a $5 fee for the Frequent Travel Program, which some find questionable. Overall, Budget Car Rental is favored for its value and ease, but customers advise checking receipts carefully to avoid unexpected fees. The location at SBA is particularly recommended for its service and reliability.

Joseph at Santa Barbara airport was very accommodating. The car options were numerous. We were very satisfied with this rental and will rent again from Avis.

Rented a car here for a road trip up to Monterey. No issues at all. The line wasn't too long and the check-in process was smooth. The car was clean and in good condition.
