“We worked with Gary E. to rent a car for a trip in Santa Barbara and then again a second time later that weekend to rent another car and drive to John Wayne airport after our departing flight was cancelled due to aircraft issues. Gary was very kind and helpful and we appreciated everything he did to get us taken care of and on our way. Both cars were very nice and clean and the rental and return process was a breeze. “Definetly the best car rental agency in Santa Barbara.
I rented a Ford Mustang for a 3 days road-trip to San Diego at an amazingly competitive price. They accepted me as a french 21 yo driver, without an international driving license, and with a debit card, while other agencies all rejected me.
The woman who received me was so kind and convenient. She also applied a reduction to the bill as I was an international student here at SB.

I will definetly rent a car again to this agency for my futures road-trips in California.Thanks to Avis I have achieved one of my dream.”

“I did not receive an emailed survey request from Budget after I made my complicated reservation over the phone with Crystal yesterday, Nov 26, 2023. So I wanted to make sure she was recognized for her helpfulness with making my reservation. She was pleasant, patient, knew all the answers to my questions, the reservation process went very smoothly because of Crystal. “The staff member here was lovely (I can't recall his name but he was a younger black man with long hair) and helped us find the perfect car on a slow morning. He was also super patient and informative with figuring out our credit card woes. The car was clean and the pricing transparent as well. The only reason we're leaving four stars is that their point of sale infrastructure is way too old! They were the only company there that couldn't take a tap to pay (many of our cards were on our phone) and even the receipt print out is on an old school side fed printer. Ownership please please invest in new POS tech and empower your lovely staff!”

“I picked up a rental car from Dollar at LAX on 12/25. While driving north on 101, the next day, I was almost hit by another vehicle drifting into my traffic lane. I hit the horn and found out it wasn't working! The closet Dollar was located at the Santa Barbara airport. I was met by Connie, at the Dollar counter. What a wonderful young lady. She would be an asset to Dollar if they had her train other reps in regards to customer service. She was empathetic, apologetic, and went over and above to help me fill out a required form which was impossible for me to read on one of her many phones. She worked fast to get me in a new car and on my way again. Her kind and friendly service was greatly appreciated!”
