Modern Laundry is a clean and convenient laundry facility that offers a card system for easy payments, eliminating the need for quarters. Customers appreciate the helpful and friendly staff, who assist with machine issues and provide local dry cleaning recommendations. Many reviews highlight the positive experiences, with some noting that customers can win a free wash when they swipe their card. While some machines may be out of order and only a few accept quarters, the overall experience remains enjoyable. The presence of maintenance staff helps ensure reliability. Open until 11 PM, Modern Laundry makes doing laundry faster and more enjoyable, with added perks like good music and clean bathrooms. Some recent feedback mentions a few maintenance problems, but the facility is still considered an awesome laundromat, especially for those passing through Santa Barbara.
