We had never been to Santa Barbara so I had no idea where we should stay. I stumbled upon the Ramada at Wyndham and it seemed like a nice enough place that fit within our budget. It turned out to be a great choice! Rod was very helpful when we checked in and the staff was always friendly if we needed more towels or had questions. The location is convenient as it's pretty much right off the freeway. I didn't notice traffic noise at all. There are quite a few food options less than 1 mile away on the other side of the freeway. The rooms were remodeled in the last couple years and were nice. One of the best features for us was the water pressure in the shower. It rocks! I believe the best pressure I've ever had at a hotel which was awesome. They have a pool area with a spa which we used every night we were there. The included breakfast had quite a few options including pancakes, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. Another great thing is they have discount cards for quite a few places to eat. You just need to stop by the office and pick up a card for the place you want to visit. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Really nice place to stay for 2 nights when we attended my cousin’s birthday in the Santa Barbara area. Comfortable bed and very friendly staff. My husband really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies when we checked in. The staff are really really excellent from check in to breakfast to housekeeping. The garden area is very well maintained and very tranquil.

I was in charge of taking a lacrosse team to Santa Barbara for one night stay. Not only was the hotel completely accommodating to nearly 60 people and 20 rooms, but they went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything everything we needed. Additionally, I personally needed to cancel my room last minute and the front desk agent, Chris, was so helpful and concerned that I was able to have my stay refunded due to a family emergency. I really appreciated his help and understanding and it made our situation that much easier. If I could give six stars I would.

Stayed here while visiting UCSB. The location was super convenient for a campus visit (as well as only being about a 15 minute drive from downtown SB), and there was more than enough parking. I loved the old-time feel of the hotel with the pond and gardens, but also appreciated the up-to-date, modern, and clean room. Staff was super friendly as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely property, beautiful grounds esp the private courtyard. The premium room is definitely worth the upgrade!Friendly front desk staff and while breakfast was simple, the attendants were awesome. It was chilly in the breakfast room and the kind attendant offered to turn up heat a bit.Hotel was very clean and quiet. We booked during a 3rd night free promotion and appreciated the savings which stretched our travel dollars. Only slight negative was somewhat noisy heating/ac unit but the SB weather was nice enough that we rarely needed it.Beautiful well managed hotel. Would stay again for sure. Be sure to meet Einstein, the grounds supe (resident white crested duck)!

Friendly staff. Modernized rooms. Beautiful pond and garden. Heated pool and hot tub even in early March. Extended continental breakfast. A hotel you can relax at rather than just sleep.

The staff at Ramada are very friendly and attentive. This is my second time staying at the Ramada for only one night each and each time they reached out to know how my stay was going and if I needed anything. The only reason I’d give 4 stars is because the exterior of the hotel is a bit outdated and the I did see a few stains on the shower curtain. Location is fantastic!Nearby activities: Good distance between Downtown SB and Isla Vista

The walls are very thin and you will hear guests in the other rooms. Otherwise, the stay was fine. Good staff, rooms, and pool. The continental breakfast was adequate. I recommend the Poke shop next door. Will definitely come here again for the value ($115 per night)Also found it funny that if you try to use the microwave while watching TV, it will scramble the signal
