Sandpiper Lodge offers a great bang for your buck, often described as a steal for the price. The rooms are consistently reported as clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, though the decor is sometimes noted as a little dated. Guests find the beds comfortable and appreciate the quiet atmosphere, often not hearing other guests. The pool and jacuzzi area is well maintained and nice. The location is considered cool and convenient. Experiences with staff vary, with many reviews highlighting friendliness, professionalism, and great service, while one found them efficient but not at all friendly. Check-in is typically easy, though one guest experienced a delay. The provided breakfast is basic, with cereal, toast, fruit, coffee, and juice, which can feel very same and boring over several days. A cute coffee shop across the street is a noted perk. The WiFi can be spotty, going in and out, but the AC works great. Despite minor issues, most guests would absolutely stay again and recommend it as a go-to spot.

This hotel is a little older but very well maintained. The rooms are clean the property was well maintained. I have stayed at several hotels in Santa Barbara. This has got to be one of my favorites. Also the Continental breakfast is great.

Decent hotel for the price, pool and jacuzzi were clean. Only 4 or 5 miles from the beach and downtown. The staff at the front desk was polite and helpful, and continental breakfast was a nice perk. I will definitely book again.
