Sunset Motel is a pleasant and unexpected gem, a nice little hotel that is a no frills but fairly quiet spot. It is one of the more reasonably priced options in Santa Barbara. The cleanliness and hospitality as a whole is a 10 out of 10. The rooms are clean and updated, with super comfy beds and very white sheets. Bathrooms are spacious with immediate warm water in the shower, and rooms feature new tile, paint, TVs, microwaves, and fridges. Some furniture, walls, and doors are a bit dated or run-down, and the Wi-Fi can be very slow. For those seeking a clean, safe, and well-kept space with a comfy bed, it delivers perfectly. The service is excellent, with kind, helpful, and attentive staff offering great communication and unmatched care. The location is perfect and great, close to everything on a main street. It is within walking distance of a ton of places, including stores, restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, a mall, and convenience stores like 7-Eleven. Despite the busy street, traffic slows at night and road noise is not a bother for most, though first-floor rooms may hear passersby. The area feels pretty safe, though some advise caution late at night. Note that the hotel does not offer breakfast, but many food options are nearby. For a reasonably priced, clean, and convenient stay with wonderful service, many guests would definitely stay here again.
No frills hotel. Fairly quiet spot even though it's next to one of the main roads of the area. Google states that the hotel offers breakfast, but it does not! Luckily there's a ton of places to get food in the surrounding area that are walkable, so it's not too bad.

Great location. Walking distance from a lot. Clean room. Nothing fancy, but we weren’t expecting anything. We had driven 27 hours to get to this area and just wanted a clean room with comfy bed & we got that :) thanks!
