Customers can visit for free and admire the artworks on display. The staff at this post office are described as the "nicest and most conscientious," going above and beyond to assist customers. For example, when someone found a wallet and returned it, the staff simply placed it in the owner's mailbox, even though they could have refused. While the overall experience is positive, some challenges have been noted, such as limited street parking, lack of drop-off slots inside the post office, and non-functioning credit card machines at the self-service kiosks. Santa Barbara Main Post Office has the best Passports service in the entire County. Passport Agent is awesome, very knowledgeable, kind and courteous.

I have no idea why this post office has only 3 stars. The staff is great and always helpful (they can’t help the long line) I usually get the young girl working I hate that I don’t have her name, but she’s the best! So polite and always knows how to help me!
The building’s architecture is a really nice bonus.
