“Located in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, SeaVees has been my "go to" shop for shoes for years. My 5 star review is long overdue! THE STORY - A loooong SoCal history which has been reawakened .... epitomizing the California beach and surf culture. SeaVees was literally in suspended animation for 40 years but is back and better than ever!THE PRODUCT - Shoes, shoes, shoes and clothes and accessories. They continue to branch out with many styles of shoes..... not just the classic slip on casuals. THE SERVICE- World class customer service. The one time I had a problem, they immediately made it right and then some. No muss, no fuss, no questions asked. That is a sign of great organization! Word on the street is that the head of SeaVees sits behind the counter anonymously now and then to keep his finger on the pulse of the business and customers. Cool!And if that isn't enough, they are socially responsible in a number of levels including donating 1% of revenues for environmental causes! Stop by to experience SeaVees in person. You won't be disappointed!”

I’ve discovered so many brands here that I genuinely love and wear on repeat, including Shaina Mote, B Sides, Cawley, Flore Flore, Hai, &Daughter, and Ichi Antiquités. They also carry Living Libations, a line of organic, pure, renegade beauty products that aligns perfectly with the shop’s thoughtful ethos. I’m especially obsessed with the Frankincense Best Skin Ever.
Yes, it’s an investment, but the pieces are exceptionally well made and designed to last. This is slow fashion and conscious consumption done right. I don’t come here to splurge all the time. I’m intentional about whether I’ll truly wear something, and when it makes sense, I go for it. Other times, I just browse and get inspired, so don’t let sticker shock stop you from checking it out.

I went in on my run and shared with Nancy and Peter (a wonderful new owners since March 2020) that I needed a piece for Christmas and they shared the most amazing choices!
And I really don’t like to shop and they picked out some perfect pieces for me in both dresses and pants, in the $120 range but looks high end!
They have great taste and you can tell they care about you - they are excellent clothing buyers. SB is blessed to have them!”

“One of my favorite stores... What are your perusing for inspiration or looking for a gift - you are sure to find some wonderful things for people of all ages. Pops of color, and the art and home decor. Many of their linens are organic, which is absolutely fabulous if you care about the Earth, the bees, and the working conditions of those behind the scenes Folly is one of many wonderful boutiques in the neighborhood. The owner is friendly with their neighbors and I love how they have worked so that they all have some beautiful things but that are different at each store.Easy parking. It's very sweet collection of shops, including a lovely patisserie and coffee shop called Renaulds I love the adorable little animals that they also have made by a local woman who is about 70 and utilizes up cycled fabrics that other customers bring in. I picked up a sweet little cat, talked into a little bag to give to my daughter, so she always has a cat with her even when she is far from home. Thank you Folly and team”

Decent prices and good customer service, very nice lady working here. If you want some clothes that are different, more interesting, this is a great place to shop at, look for more original attire. Right on State st. Unfortunately they are closed 3 days a week. So check their schedule and hours before you go!”
