I came in with my boyfriend today. The girl who "helped" us didn't have to say it, though she indirectly accused us of stealing. We found this to be funny, anyone else would have been offended. She saw there was a spot where there was missing a ring which she proceeded to question if it was us, whether we had a ring on hold which we said no. During our shopping she asked us maybe three times if we were holding onto jewelry that we hadn't paid for- I was over it so I bought a ring I liked and we left. Poor service. Cute ring though! Pricey even with the "discount".

Super Silver has an awesome variety of silver jewelry. Alana, the general manager helped me, and she was fantastic! Alana was friendly, professional and very patient with me. She helped me make the right decision with my beautiful purchase.

Used to have quality silver, now is cheap, bendy, tarnishes, and loses stones after 4 months. Went in to see if it could be remedied and was told I could only have a small discount on my next ring and that's it. Spend the money next door and get gold instead.

if i could give zero stars i would. went in with some of my friends and tried in different rings in the hopes of purchasing, my friend was immediately accused of stealing by a very angry young male staff member who desperately needed a comb. he started yelling at her and telling us to leave, claiming he had "checked the surveillance footage" and saw her stealing. there was nothing in her pocket. absolutely ridiculous and he should be fired.

Their biggest strength is the variety of gems at appropriate prices. The staff is very friendly!

Huge selection of rings but unreliable customer service. One employee asked me if I needed help finding anything, and promptly directed me where to go. But in that area, prices were no where to be found. I waited for the person behind the rings counter to have a free moment. Seeing as she was waiting on someone else who was trying on rings, I said I could wait until she was done. After another minute or two of waiting, she asked me what I needed. She seemed bothered to answer a general inquiry about price range and apologized to the other customer. I felt embarrassed because I didn't intend on interrupting anyway and it was such a simple question. I left because I felt unwelcome.

I do love this store. However it always runs a fake sale and the prices on sale are astronomical now. They price by the gram and it just is not worth their gram price when silver is only a dollar a gram.

Such a good selection, always great finds for every finger size. Been coming here since I was 12 and it's so fun. I've gotten so many rings and compliments on them.

If you walk in this store, be prepared to stay awhile. It has probably the largest selection of silver jewelry I have seen anywhere in the world. They also have really nice dream catchers in all different sizes.

Staff was very helpful and i got what i was looking for finally and it was a citrine charm for my charm bracelet. They even were nice enough to put the charm on my bracelet. Both people that helped me were so very nice and helpful and professional. Love this place.

My friends and I have bought jewelry here multiple times, so I trusted this store. However, last year I bought a couple rings that I was wearing. When I went into a natural hot springs (contains sulfur), all my silver rings blackened and turned a different color due to a natural chemical reaction. I cleaned all of them with a silver cleaning formula and they all reverted back to normal silver, except for one—a ring I bought from here, which is really strange because the other ring I bought from this store was perfectly fine (it was real silver) and it went back to normal. But this one was not real silver — it turned an yellowish bronze, and the original tiger’s eye stone popped off not long afterwards! So now this is what it looks like. I’m really disappointed because I realized I paid almost $30 for this fake, obviously not real silver, ring.

Utterly heartbreaking to go into an establishment I had previously held in such high esteem. I went looking for some rings to complete my set and had bought from them previously. However upon entering me and my friend were immediately approached by a worker in an aggressive manner, and despite stating we were browsing she continued looking us up and down. Pressing us on what we were looking for. Eventually she left us alone, but almost immediately after she left another worker started approaching us and the previous women let her know that we were “just browsing” in a condescending tone. My friend and I were uncomfortable, not knowing why we had immediately been treated as people worth anything less than some human decency. However we hadn’t even gotten to look at the rings yet, so we carried on. Upon looking at the rings we were let know of a sale they had going on, and while I was intrigued my friend was just there to keep me company. Sensing that I might not want to buy three rings for a 5% discount the employee insinuated that if my friend bought one or two we could get the discount. Giving the overall impression that people who came to browse weren’t welcome. But even that I may forgive, I could be misunderstanding. WhatI can’t forgive is that upon checking out two rings couldn’t be located, instead of looking for them a manager immediately told me I had them in my bag. I had a little clutch purse that has to be open with two hands and is a hassle to get stuff in or out. It would be apparent if I put something in my bag, but the accusation was made and I was disgusted. One ring I had on my finger as I had yet to decide if I was taking it, I had relayed this information to the young man attending me. The other we found in the under compartment where I had misplaced it. If they had taken one moment to look this would have been resolved in a matter of minutes without pointing me out to staff and other shoppers like a thief. This behavior started at the door and did not end until I left the store. I was offered no apology and I was instead the one who apologized for the misunderstanding. The only person who showed any empathy or care for my experience was the young man at the register who showed his regret for the handling of the situation and attempted to make light conversation to diverge from the horrendous claim laid upon me. It’s hard to feel like this wasn’t targeted, we entered the store and within five minutes three different employees cornered us and made us feel like “others”. Mocking us for wanting to browse, and eyeing us as less then, it was a disappointing experience to go through something like this. Handled in such a foul manner that left me feeling devalued as a person. This skeptical attitude is akin to microaggressions experienced in my past as I’m a POC queer person. Two other white women who entered after us were not treated this way and it’s disgusting that even in Santa Cruz these ignorant and intolerant attitudes are prevalent and actively taking place in establishments like these.
