“Had a banquet here with my highschool waterpolo team, the decor was good, the pastrys were absolutely dashing. But unfortunately the service was not, it seems that the servers paid quite a lot more attention to people names higher on the list. The sirloin they served seemed to be medium rare, seeing as how me, some of the parents, and my teammates all ate theirs with the only thing left over being the huge bloody center left cut out. I heard great remarks on the chicken, I personally had a potato and garlic bread, both delicious.”

Ask for room away from the road or you will hear cars all night.Nearby activities: We attended a play at PCPA, 30 minutes from beach, hiking 30-40 minutes away.”

“If you’re staying in the modern part of the hotel you’ll like it. It’s clean, spacious and comfortable.We accidentally booked a historical room and I was very disappointed, that side is old and rundown. It needs a makeover and attention. After expressing my feelings the hotel was kind enough to move us to the modern side.We originally booked only 2 nights but really liked the hotel that we extended for an additional 2 nights.”

“I was so impressed with my room. The price was amazing. I remember this place when it was a dive hotel. Not anymore the lobby has great snacks. The owner was such a treat. (FYI young punks quit ruining rooms you jerks) What he's accomplished with the remodel is amazing. It completely is a different wonderful vibe. I know if he could have breakfast again it would be amazing. Overall the whole experience was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone for vacation or staycation. The Spa bathroom room was so nice. I highly recommend it. It's very much an experience. I got the pleasure to meet the owner he was such a delight. I totally get the large deposit so e people think it's the old hotel and completely trash the place. He's put amazing work into it and made it a great place to stay now. So don't trash the place and you get your money back that simple. ## My new luxury get away.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine. Recently updated enough and comfortable. My only real critique is noise. The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors on both sides. (One watching TV and the other chatting at normal volume levels.) Thankfully the noise went through the wall both ways and I was able to cough a few times to ensure that the TV went off by 11:00. Pillows and bed were a bit hard for my taste, but others might find them perfect. The pool looked lovely though I didn't use it on my visit. Wifi was fast and free. It was a great no-frills place to spend the night on a trip up the coast.”

“We stayed here recently on Thanksgiving night while visiting family in the area and could not have been more pleased with the friendly, efficient service we received. Our room was newer, and very clean. The common areas were clean and nice for sitting and chatting and hanging out etc. The complimentary breakfast was good - eggs, cereal, oatmeal, DIY waffles, muffins, good coffee, juices. Special shout out to the fantastic, patient later-evening desk clerk who checked in our large and disorganized group (our fault!!!) - he was friendly, upbeat, and efficient. I think his name was Christian? Thank you for making our stay special.”
