“Great time at the Inn at the Cove! The location is perfect to explore Shell beach, Pismo, only 15-20 minutes to San Luis Obispo, and only 30-40 minutes to Paso Robles. It's also easy to explore up and down the PCH. Great base and the property itself is great! Fire pits, comfortable seating all around the hotel, and the views are unmatched. Amazing sunsets, wine hour from 4p-5p with free wine, and the service was impeccable. Clean, nice rooms with space, pool, hot tub, unsure you could ask for anything more especially at this price point. Danielle at the front desk was especially great!”

“We have been going to Sea crest Hotel for years now. I absolutely love this hotel the staff is excellent. I want to give a special thanks and review to 1 person in General. Bri” If spelled wrong sorry? Bri works at the front desk. When it comes to the stressful job of booking, Bri makes this process easy and does so with impeccable customer care. The confidence I have that my stay will be exactly how I intend is not always there when I handle the situation. Fortunately professional staff at Sea crest “Bri” being our usual candidate fulfills every need and corrects the mistakes I commonly make when booking a room with a pet involved. She handles it with exceptional quality, friendliness, professionalism, and most importantly a Genuine personality! Hands down she is one of Sea crest’s finest assets. So Thank You Sea crest and most importantly, Thank You Bri.Rooms: So CleanNearby activities: Ocean is steps away!Walkability: About 89 steps on the stairs to the ocean”

“Lovely little motel. Our room was very clean , the area was quiet, bed was comfortable. The only complaint was the shower pressure is a bit weak and the hot water takes a long time to heat up but that may just be a function of the area or how their water is done. The important thing was the high level of cleanliness, comfort and free parking. The area was nice also, walkable to the beach, some of the small coffee shops and stores in the area were lovely.”

“Vespera, simply put, was the perfect place to hold a wedding.Ally, Holly, and team were great from start to finish - accommodating, very understanding, listening to what our needs were and making sure that the venue was as customized to our liking as possible. The actual hotel location is gorgeous - right along the beach, with amazing sunsets, and that led to a really beautiful backdrop for our wedding. The food at Pequin is amazing too - our guests loved all the options. The color scheme of various shades of blue were exactly what we were looking for and that really reflected throughout. We used the Starlight Lawn patio area (by the pool outside) for our ceremony and reception and did Cocktail Hour alongside the patios by the boardwalk. We did not do a beach wedding even though some people choose to do that.We are super happy with Vespera and special shoutout to Ally and Holly and the team - thank you so much and we encourage you to consider Vespera for something that’s halfway between SF and LA.”

“This place far exceeded every expectation. Our family of 5 stayed in a family suite, which gave us room to spread out. From the extensive fresh breakfast to the evening reception to the beautiful lobby and outdoor seating, everything was excellent. Jennifer made our stay extra special with her warm hospitality and kind spirit; if I could hire 100 team members like her, I would. She's one of a kind!”

“Excellent location! You are steps away from Pismo pier and beach. Back of your alley is Splash Cafe and all touristy shops, restaurants and within 5 min walk is Old West Cinnamon Roll.Rooms include a kitchenette, a full refrigerator, 2 stove tops, a full microwave, and a good-sized sink with all your cooking hardware and eating/drinking utensils. The bathroom is spacious with a window and exhaust fan. Loved the patio deck. It was large enough to hold 6 people comfortably. Included a round table with 4 chairs and a comfortable bench. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our stay. For little ones, they have boogie boards and sand toys to use if you forgot yours in the parking garage. You can also leave your beach toys for the next family to utilize as well. We left a boogie board and water tubes. I thought that was awesome. If you want to enjoy Pismo Beach with family and friends, this is one of the best hotels suites to stay in.”

“I loved the room my man and I stayed at. We were on the top floor and could see the ocean and pool. It had a nice balcony with 2 chairs and a table to put food or drinks on. I loved the restaurant there. They had good food and the view was romantic of the ocean and you could watch the sunset. I went there for my 1 year wedding anniversary. They have a firepit that you can sit around and they sell a s’more kit that you can buy and make at the firepit. Their is a walk way to get to the beach below the cliff but it’s alittle treacherous of your not careful and I would say you need to be in shape. The stairs are big but steep and it’s alittle slippery when wet and sandy but I loved it there and the beds are so nice that I slept very soundly. I think their temperpedic. The people that work their are very helpful and nice and they have waffle texture Robes that say spyglass so I bought one and I’ve kept it. They don’t have free breakfast so you would have to eat at the restaurant on-site. Their is a shell gas station next door that is very convenient and a shopping center across the street. It’s not a big shopping area but it has souvenirs and a deli and food. It just depends on your taste what you like. I haven’t been there since the Covid pandemic but I want to go back again some day. I went in 2020. They do have a pool and a hot tub outside surrounded partly by glass walls. We went in the hot tub more then the pool. Kids would like the pool.Rooms: Very clean, beds are very luxurious, nice tv, very relaxing.Nearby activities: Their is a beach you can get to by a stairway but just be careful and take your time going down it.Safety: It seemed safe to me. Just don’t let kids get near the cliff area because no fence is on the wall way and be careful of the fire pits that no little hands get in the firepit. They start up by a button you hold down to light the flame that goes on.Food & drinks: At the restaurant only onsite.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Motel 6 in Pismo Beach, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked into my room, I was greeted by a sense of cleanliness and order that you don’t always find in affordable accommodations. The room was spotless, with every surface and linen feeling fresh and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. But what truly set this motel apart was the view. Waking up to the breathtaking vista of the Pacific Ocean was a daily delight. The serene beauty of the water, coupled with the sound of the waves, added an element of tranquility to my stay that was absolutely priceless.Location-wise, you can't beat this Motel 6. It's just a one-minute walk to the iconic Pismo Beach pier, making it incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore the area or simply enjoy some time by the water. The easy access to the beach was definitely a highlight of my stay, providing both the joys of seaside relaxation and the vibrant local culture right at my doorstep. Moreover, the kindness and hospitality of the owners were the cherry on top of an already wonderful stay. They were welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that my time at the motel was enjoyable. Their warm personalities and dedication to guest satisfaction truly made me feel at home.In summary, my stay at the Motel 6 in Pismo Beach was an absolute delight. With its clean rooms, stunning views, prime location, and exceptional hospitality, it’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in the area. Whether you’re passing through or planning a longer visit, this motel is a fantastic choice that combines affordability with a quality experience.”

“Pismo was said to be a fun and nice place …the beach is fine…but the town is oddly old and out dated. Coming from malibu, laguna, and new port pismo is a little off beat. The locals are nice but a lot of the shops seemed liked tourist traps and trinkets. Not my favorite but the inn was nice . Thank you for providing great service with a smile, I will still recommend this place to others. It was fun watching local collect clams on the beach. I’ve never seen that down south”

“I was looking for a local friendly spot for the night to break up my drive from San Diego to Monterey. This spot looked cute, clean & reasonable. I was surprised that it was really great: super clean & remodeled, no gross carpeting, microwave & refrigerator & heat-AC fully upgraded. I sleep with windows open so there's some highway noise but expected that with the location so i brought earplugs. Very cozy & comfy nights sleep.”

“Let's be real, you get what you pay for... we stayed 4 nights and paid less than $800 next to the ocean and close to downtown Pismo, you can't beat that. However, I was a little disappointed when we first got there. But I didn't have high expectations going in so I let it go and dealt with our first room, it was dirty and we were put downstairs. I got it changed after the first night. The people upstairs were super loud and I couldn't sleep so I asked the front desk if we could switch to a room upstairs so they put us in that exact room after those people left. I didn't mind it was mine & my sons birthday weekend and I was back in my hometown I didn't want anything to ruin our trip. The room upstairs was a little better but that one didn't have A/C but it did have a mini heater in the wall which was perfect cause it got super cold at night. I will say the pics online are deceiving so don't get excited when you see those lol but overall it wasn't a bad stay and I'm usually very very picky. The staff was nice, the location is good, and you could still see the ocean. All I have to say is the rooms can be cleaner and slightly updated. Remember though.. EVERYBODY has different experiences at places.”

“This is a great hotel off the freeway right between Silicon Valley and LA. Easy to get to, near an awesome grocery store and lots of good Japanese restaurants, beautiful trails for a run in the morning and allows dogs. The rooms are a little run down but they are clean and spacious and the staff is SO friendly and helpful.”

“Stayed here on a random beach trip. Very pleased with the stay. Room was very clean thankfully this hotel has no carpet. All motels should remove carpets. Hotel was packed but it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable seating was nice with a booth type chair. I'd say only flaw was it smelled like smoke. But once we turned on the fan it went away and had the "norm" motel smell. I'd out this one on our top 5 list and we will definitely stay here again. I've read the reviews and we had none of the issues. Although we didn't have a hair dryer or coffee pot there is plenty of spots to grab a coffee and I don't use hair dryers so not an issue. Thank you hotel 6 and cleaning people for making our stay nice ?”
