I was provided with phone call updates as well as a clear breakdown of financial transparency and even a post-lab detailed report. “I have a four month old American Bully puppy named Milo, and I have been bringing him to Mercy Crusade since he was eight weeks old. In my opinion, this is the best place to bring your fur babies. All of the staff here have been so friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. On top of that, all the staff are so sweet to Milo. I haven't had any issues with their walk-in services, nor with appointment scheduling at all. Lastly, doctor Rogers is by far absolutely amazing! She is so knowledgeable and informative, and you can just tell that she really cares about the people and their pets. “We have had our sweet girl for 5 years now and have never had any health issues with her (she’s now 17) until We received a call from where we board her that she was down. With the shortage of equine vets, we couldn’t get anyone out to look at her. I must have called about 10
Different vets. Our regular vet wasn’t taking emergency calls that day. Another hospital recommended West Coast Equine Hospital so we loaded her up and drove from Santa Clarita. Not knowing this vet/hospital, I was desperately texting people that have horses if they’ve ever use them before. 2 people whom I trust without a shadow of doubt, both said they saved their horses! That surely put me at ease, not knowing what we were going to be getting in to.
From the initial phone call, to the initial assessment, to the surgery she had, to the post-op care/stay, to discharge and follow-up, there has been nothing but positive things to say about the entire team!
We got her there in the nick of time! I’m a human nurse with an ER background and all went as smoothly as could be! Better than anticipated actually. She didn’t have colic from sand or anything she could’ve gotten in to, but rather she had a mechanical issue of her gut being pinched by her ribs. Total fluke.
We made the decision to move forward with surgery. They brought us up to the gallery to wait, and watch if we wanted to. They checked in on us throughout the procedure. The primary vet - Dr. Kemper and the surgeon - Dr. Sullivan, are phenomenal. The surgeon had this procedure down almost as if it was an art form! I’d have him operate on me any day! The procedure itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly precise.
Sebastian, the physician doing his externship was lovely as well! If he stays in the area, I’d definitely consider him for our primary vet. The caring, compassion, and empathy the entire team demonstrated, was extremely appreciated. As nervous as we were about the whole situation, we knew she was in good hands and we could leave allowing her and us to rest peacefully. Oh and when you go, the facility is absolutely gorgeous! Talk about being able to heal in a place like that - amongst the Orange groves!
The incisions were impeccable! Her recovery uneventful and now my daughter has been able to gently ride her again starting just a few days ago.
Thank you will never be enough for helping and essentially saving our sweet girl! We are also now going to make West Coast her primary vet. You couldn’t ask for a better team!!! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! 💕”

“I had a one year old kitten who, I thought, had a bad fall. He had a big bump on his face above one eye one day. I wasn't able to get into our regular vet and took him here. I was pleased with the amount of compassion and information we got. Unfortunately, after being seen, the following days he got worse. Again I was able to easily get him in to be seen. The progressive rate his bump was getting worse and causing more problems, it became clear it was a brain tumor. We had to make the ultimate decision to put him out of his rapidly increasing misery and let him go. They were so informative, understanding and compassionate. It was my 5yo sons cat. They allowed him to be involved in the process and had him hold and love on him during the injection. I appreciate that they didn't question us as parents, we wanted to teach a big life lesson. We weren't about to lie or be deceptive. Honestly, I think he took the overall experience better because he was involved. We got to take him home and bury him, he gets to put flowers on his grave and talk to him when he wants. The office sent us a card signed by every employee. Personal notes inside. It took me by surprise. It's that extra personal touch that solidified my confidence that this is a dedicated, loving vets office. The whole staff was so friendly, supportive and helpful.”

“Typical PETCO! The only difference is they have marine fish and inverts but be cautious and inspect before buying; especially if there's a Tang in there. The only PETCO in Ventura County that sells marine fish and invertebrates.Employees need to be better trained to care for their animals; poor living conditions and habitats. Incapable fish are mixed with aggressive fish which causes stress and possible death.The only thing saving from a horrible is their employee name John. He is always helpful, polite and tentative to the customers. OUTSTANDING customer service and I've seen do everything in the store.”
“I wanted to take my dog in to see a vet for something I was concerned about. It was Saturday and I was dreading waiting to Monday and then having to wait even longer to get an appt. I called around and stumbled upon Pet Headquarters and got a same day clinic appt!! It was such a wonderful relief. Especially since I work late hours on week days! The facility was clean. The receptionist friendly. I had no wait after the paperwork was complete and was escorted to a room. The provider came in promptly and examined my doggie and provided on hands care and prescribed antibiotics. It was such a wonderful experience. He clean the teeth he had to put him out and that we were nervous but it all went well and that he extended his life with a steroid shots once a month to help with arthritis and then great care on our three rescue cats and also Lillian amor, younger dog that we rescued highly recommend.
