I have been with Patelco for a very long time. But it has changed and not for the better. I placed a large check into my account Which had a large amount in it before I added this check which was a cashiers check. Without saying anything to me they placed a hold on my account. I wrote a check to another bank because of a higher interest rate and Patelco bounced that check plus my rent check Which had the money there before I added the large check. So needless to say I am not a happy camper and I think it's time to check out other banks and credit unions.

I stopped into the Santa Rosa branch this morning to make a deposit. I was so impressed with the teller "JRM" who assisted me. He was very friendly, kind and extremely helpful.

Hands down the best banking service I have ever used. After leaving Redwood Credit Union due to transaction restructuring (where transactions pull out in different orders causing overdrafts) I would myself at Patelco. However many years later I have had 5 car loans, 2 credit cars, multiple loans and checking/savings accounts with them. The customer service in store and over the phone is always top notch. If you ever have a problem they go the distance to solve them. You would be foolish to not bank with them!

I was on vacation when my online account was hacked. I had to go to the nearest branch to get things squared away. I went into the Santa Rosa branch and was greeted by Fidel. I told him my situation and he immediately introduced me to his manager John Campbell. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they both worked together to make sure my account was reassigned with a new number, ordered checks and new debit cards. I want to commend both of them for going above and beyond for me as a customer. I highly recommend this branch and the friendly customer service representatives that work there.

Great credit Union I've been a member for 25 years plus. They bent over backwards to help me out during covid and also when we're evacuated during fires. They offered me too skip my loan and credit card payments for 3 months during covid and also during the fires.

I've had to call my back litterally 7 times this year. I have NEVER EVER had to call my bank before. This last call took the cake, I'm leaving this place. I call because they blocked my card. They do this every month I pay rent for the past 7 years. Usually I get a text asking if I authorized the payment ut bo text this time. I call and wait on hold for almost a half hour. The girl answers and doesn't ask me my member number (never had that happen) and asks how she can help. She say ok, let me transfer tou to a real person , uhhh what are you a robot? She transfer me to a number saying the business hours are closed its after 7pm and hangs up. I call again, and now the phone center is closed, she obviously did this so she could go home. Now my card is blocked I cant get gas or dinner or use my card for anything until tomorrow. FUCK PATELCO!!!

Terrible bank!! Got a loan and paying it through our bill pay from another bank, they say we did not make our payments even though our other bank shows Pateco was paid. Hope it gets straightened out. Husband had to take off work early 2 days in a row to go deal with them. Super inconvient!! Tried to call but on hold for long time and got cut off finally was able to leave 2 messages with someone just to be ignored.

This credit used to be the absolute best. But over the last few years (prior to Covid) it has really gone down hill. Back 5 months ago I went on to get info and they told me what they needed. I hired an attorney and got the paperwork for an estate issue. I went back and oops they now won't do it because the deceased is not a prior client and they already knew that back 5 months ago. And now they want additional paperwork because they never told me I have to start all over with the attorney and courts. Also customer service is the pits. The old team where pleasant and caring. New teams could care less and constantly make mistakes and put things in the wrong accounts. I personally know of 2 other prior members who have left this credit union due to the no customer service. I may be leaving too.

Shockingly bad service. I have been with them just since December. I have been working with Leif in the Santa Rosa branch. After a few months of losing large sums of money, I had some questions about how the rising interest rates would affect my account. Neither He or his Supervisor answered my questions. Just gave me the phone number to customer service and the option to close my account. I really regret using Patelco investment department. I'm trying to file a complaint with Patelco but the Branch Manager says he doesn't over see the investment department.

DO NOT GO WITH PATELCO!!! TODAY WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT I WAS PLACED ON HOLD FOR OVER 60MIN. NO JOKE...HORRIBLE SERVICE...Very clearly they are using Kovit19 as excuse to only open from 10am to 4pm...that is a sad sad case of a credit union... I have the worsted regrets for ever leaving my bank of 14 years and joined them..THEY DONT DO A THING FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS..DO NOT GO WITH PATELCO CREDIT UNION

Ridiculous bank. Hours are the most inconvenient hours I’ve ever seen. Constantly late on payments because I come here and they’re either closed or the line is too long to wait as I am forced to go during lunch break. They move incredibly slow here. I’ve never seen a bank move this slow. It’s like they don’t even try. I heard the rohnert park location was better..will be trying that next time.

My husband and I closed all of our accounts with Patelco after a bad customer service experience that I had with a teller and manager at this location in October 2019. We had been banking here for years, including multiple auto loans and credit cards, so it's unfortunate that these employees don't value their longtime customers. I am now affiliated with a new bank and couldn't be happier.
