My 81 year old mother has had her hair cut at this salon 3 times by the owner at the recommendation of a friend, and she has generally liked her haircuts. On her most recent visit, however, the stylist (the owner) was clearly frustrated w/my mom's physical limitations and was super rude, impatient and unkind. My mom is a fragile elderly lady, and her caregiver who brought her to the appointment was horrified by how the stylist treated her. It really hurt my mom's feelings; we are all upset and disappointed that a businesswoman would treat an elder so disrespectfully.

I LOVE this place. After many years trying to find a good hair stylist I finally found this place. Service is top notch, she really cares about her clients and takes time to understand what you want. it's about passion with her. She really enjoys what she does and she doesn't do it for the money, but to help people feel and look at their best. My haircut was fabulous, hair color was perfect and there are little, wonderful 'perks' like the cookies and tea you get every time, and this last time I was here for a long time and she even gave me some salad so I wouldn't be hungry. This is, by far, the BEST hair salon you will find in the Bay Area!

Had I known that she will be cutting out my long grown hair without clearly seeking my permission, I wouldn’t go to her ..Charges me $95 and am totally disappointed..My hair takes a good while to grow & we are all different …I will never go back to her …just sweet talk etc etc not worth it …Worse experience ever !!Service: Hairstyling

Found this amazing salon on yelp. Cynthiana is amazing, got me a last minute appointment on Christmas Eve!!!! I had about an hour to get my hair blow dried. I was out of the salon in less than 40 minutes with amazing curls. Besides that, they offer cookies, tea and even gave me lollipops to go for my daughter. The best service! Highly recommend it.

I love coming to Aznive for my haircut and color. If you get a haircut and keep getting compliments you know that you should go back there again. You can purchase hair products and some unique jewelry from here as well. I tend to buy my hair products from Aznive to ensure the products are original. The store is tucked in the back of the shopping center close to the Starbucks and there's plenty of parking spots available.

I have been bleaching my hair at home & naturally some of it has been damaged. I made an appointment for a haircut & thought I'll just get a short haircut to make it look healthy. I was very happy to be able to keep the length of my hair & get some nice layers. Thanks dear Azi.

I had a really bad experience unfortunately they don't know how to cut Curley hair especially Curley short hair I showed them a picture and in the end it was not even remotely look like what I wanted she cut most of my hair with machine and I had to make several modification of hair she left to cut all and all don't go there if you have a Curley hair and especially if you are looking for short hair cut Update: I was so distributed by my new look and it was so bad after washing all curled up and it look like l am wearing a wig and poorly fit that I had to go to cut all my hair very short so paid double and end up with a super short hair nothing that I imagined (definitely not visiting them for the second time!)

This place is pricey and bad quality products. Went to get my root colored and 3 days later my roots were showing again. Friend people but I will not come back.

I took my 10 year old daughter to Souriana's after going through reviews for numerous salons nearby. The place is well looked after, clean and airy. We waited about 15 mins for the appointment which is normal. While we waited we looked through the interesting selection of magazines. They had hand sanitizer and the owner Aznive asked if we prefer she wore a mask and we said yes. Mask order is now lifted yet she was courteous to ask. She took her time to chat to us, gave advice on hair care, talked about modern trends in hair styles, etc. We requested a U cut with gradual layers to frame the face. She did exactly what we asked and went above and beyond to make it perfectly even. Azniv really cares about the quality of service, and even more how courteous she is towards her customers. I'm so glad to have found this place. Thank you so much Aznive, I am definitely recommending you to others.

I love this place they make the best hair design and always walk in and I am in rush Azzie never say no I do not have time she with it out . She does great job and she has great attitude . It's well worth the price .

I'm here from LA and was desperately looking for someone to do my hair. So glad I found Azi!. The cut, color and style are beautiful! I learned a lot about my hair as well. Great service and friendly atmosphere!

You go in for a root touch up. Imagine someone takes your head and dips it in a bucket of hair dye. As they finish, you have color streaming down your forehead, cheeks, ears, necks. You whimper and point gently to your Halloween costume. It is ignored. Then they wash your hair in under 5 mins with one rinse, long nails getting filed against your neck and face during the rinse. You hope the nightmare disappears when you are toweled up only to find there is more color all over your face. This time you speak up a little more. It is rubbished away. You go home quietly and discover the color is incorrect, and as you run your fingers through your hair, the color keeps running under your nails, your fingers. You spend the next couple of days furiously shampooing away the nightmare. That is Souriana's. Shoddy, careless, and brute-forced. A service for which you have paid top dollar. It is awesome to support home businesses at these times, so I considered a negative review in these difficult times. After sleeping over it, my pillowcase covered in color insisted it is warranted.
