In Gamescape, I left with FOUR (only because of my luggage limitations)The store has a very large collection - they sell well known classics to recent additions. And to top it off, their staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful too. A strong recommendation to anyone within the vicinity who is interested in this hobby!”

“I went in looking for a simple, but sturdy plastic board to support the end of a cage that was an inch longer than the end of the counter. Sam made sure I chose the right kind of plastic (I didn't know there was even a difference) to survive what this board would be exposed to (bleach, cleansers). Well, the board is perfect and thank you, Sam, for suggesting one corner be rounded. I could not think of anything I would have done differently. It's perfect.”

“I called the store to see if they had a panel I needed and they did. The employee offered to hold it behind the counter as it was the last one on stock. A few minutes later she called me back to let me know that the panel had a tiny scratch and she was worried that it might affect my art project. I went to the store and the scratch was totally acceptable and would be invisible once I painted over it. I was impressed with her concern and that she took the time to call me back. She was also helpful when I was purchasing some watercolor brushes. I give this store and employee an excellent rating for caring customer service, professionalism and courtesy. Thank you so much!”

“i would give this 100 stars if i could. There's a new game that's super popular that has been going nuts. All the game stores around Norcal have banded together to gouge the community and rob players of a chance for affordable materials. This gem of a store has made it very clear they are a pillar for this community and they are for the PLAYERS. It's something the other LGS' don't understand because when you treat people as people and not a money printer it builds your brand and trust. you are not a metric to gamescape, youre a friend, family, person, and will be seen. save this lgs at all costs. thank you, 100% will be back!!!!”

“Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable here, and the prices are so reasonable! I'm super shy but everyone here put me at ease. I was looking to create a fish tank cover with cutouts for my filter etc and Junior turned out also to be an aquarium enthusiast! I didn't come in with questions, but he educated me on the thickness of the acrylic meant to go under LED lights and heated water, whether or not it'll bow over time, how much light will pass through to my plants, and so on! He's so nice and patient, and made sure that my cover was the perfect dimensions. The cutouts are an additional $5 for each in addition to the price of the rectangular acrylic and the entire custom piece came out much cheaper than the pet shop.In addition, Edgar and one other person (sorry, I forgot his name!) helped answer questions about other pieces in the store and their customization. The plastic containers = food safe, great for use as travel bottles, and basically wholesale price--how could you beat that?”

Marcus went well out of his way to teach my daughter how to play Pokémon so we could participate in an upcoming event. He is an incredible teacher, patient, and genuinely passionate about TCG.I’ve been a dreadnought member (highest tier membership) for 6 months and even tho I’ve yet to play a game of MTG on premises… I feel like I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth in discount of booster boxes and customer service. “Ying Hobbies & Toys it's the hidden gem you never knew you needed! My wife stumbled upon this treasure while on a quest for Gunpla goodness, and boy, am I glad she did. Tucked away in a cozy spot, Ying Hobbies & Toys might play hard to get at first, but once you lay eyes on its bounty of plastic wonders, you'll be hooked. The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. Seriously, choosing just one model feels like trying to pick a favorite child - impossible and bound to hurt someone's feelings. But fear not, the guy running the place is pretty helpful. With his guidance, navigating through the sea of model kits becomes a breeze! Oh and the pricing is super fair specially for all the cool stuff you can find. So, if you're a Gundam enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the art of model kits, do yourself a favor and pay Ying Hobbies & Toys a visit. “The store is cool and the toys are awesome. They also have shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and about 3 plushies. The reason I took a star off is because of the employee. We went on Sunday afternoon planning to spend a lot of money but the employee's attitude made us leave without buying anything. He seemed annoyed that he had to deal with customers. There are no prices on anything so you have to ask him how much everything is. He might be new as he was unable to answer 2 questions (not price related.) It seems like a kick back job so that's probably why he works there but if he doesn't like dealing with customers he should find another job.”

“I ordered the #PS509 Flight Attendant 3-D Wood Sign with a lower personalization plate for my sister-in-law last month. She is now a retired Purser for a major US airline, and that plaque was just perfect for her retirement party. At first, the sign was showing not available on their website. A quick call to Nancy there at Tailwinds solved that problem (computer glitch), and the follow-on ordering was super easy! A few days later, Nancy called me back and said that the manufacturer suggested a slightly different formatting of the lower personalization plate (where the airline name and dates of service are printed.) I accepted that slight tweak, and in just a few days, the completed plaque was sent directly to my brother (so he could wrap it up for the pending party.) My sister-in-law LOVES the plaque, and it is now proudly displayed in her home office (along with all of my brother's USMC plaques from the '80s.) In fact, all of her fellow flight attendants just had to know where she got that sign from, so I quickly provided them a link to the Tailwinds.com website. “One of the better spots for some collectables. Funko Pops, trading cards (sports and non sports cards, and many sports autograph memorabilia. A nice quiet location in Stonestown. The store is big enough for a small group of people but large enough for a verity of amazing collectables. The staff is friendly and helpful with assisting with your needs. Definitely go and check out.”
