“This 5 star review is regarding the experience I had with Stephanie, a Patient Navigator in the Memorialcare Fountain Valley (Corporate?) Office. I had gone to urgent care and needed important follow-up, and I had the pleasure of having Stephanie answer my phone call and acting as the liason between the PA, MA, and myself. She stood out as different to me because she truly listened to my concerns, was patient and effective. She is one of the employees here that actually cares about the patients (a lot of people do, a lot of people don't) and is an asset to your company. I really appreciated her help and just wanted to give credit where it is due. Thank you Stephanie!”
“My experience coming here is always pleasant. The staff is always friendly and the doctors seem to get it right each time. The office is always clean and the wait time is never too long! I drive a bit of a distance to come here because of all the things I've listed above. I highly recommend this office!”

“Had made an appointment two days prior and went through the entire pre-registration process, uploading my drivers license and insurance card and completing the questionnaire. I even gave my insurance information to the gal over the phone when I had called to inquire which day a certain doctor worked. Upon arrival, the receptionist said, she needed to see all that again because she didn’t have the information. I do not get the point of pre-registering. She was a bit curt and I was a bit frustrated.
UPDATE - it seems things have improved at the front desk. And the doctors are always very thorough. I particularly like Dr. Schumacher.”

“I tried to see my primary they couldn't find an open time I'd have to wait almost a month to get in!! My condition wasn't waiting I needed to see a dr.and get meds. I walked in to EXER at 745pm (learned they close at 8! And they didn't treat me any differently for coming in so late ) They helped me get registered on line (not technically savvy at all) and I was seen within 15 minutes! (I wait in the waiting room way longer than that at my primary office !! Even when i have an appt!!) the staff at EXER operates together in a very smooth and settling way. The DR was quick to see me, did the check up, prescribed the antibiotics I needed and bam on the road to recovery! That's what I needed. It was done. I would recommend them to anyone who needs in and out and done quickly service! I mean now that I'm thinking about it why would I ever return to my primary..they are too swamped and if I'm already not feeling good why put myself thru that craziness? It's EXER for most of my medical needs from now on. They are great!”

She is super responsive to messages and always ensures that our needs are met. Again, she is simply the best PCP, ever! The nurses and office staff are very friendly. The office is always very clean and organized. Never crowded with minimal wait times. Excellent spot for healthcare!”

“Dr. Z has been not only my Primary Physician for over 45 years, he’s been my friend and advocate. From difficult diagnoses to instant recognition of my symptoms, Dr. Z has never failed to provide the proper care. Over the decades he became my family’s physician. I’ve had many illnesses that were treated by so-called specialists and on several occasions my recovery was not promising, but Dr. Z became my advocate with those Know-it-alls and helped to bring about my recuperation. I am so grateful for the never rushed & caring treatment I’ve received from him. He’s retiring soon and I am truly afraid and concerned for my future care. “Loved the experience! Medical assistants were reassuring and sweet. Made me feel comfortable and even offered me water! Never been asked that before. I felt well taken care of. I usually feel pressured/uneasy when it comes to getting checked up, but with this experience it made me think other wise. I came here to get my vaccinations and mind you.. I AM SCARED OF NEEDLES ! The assistants reassured me and was fast with the injections! I recommend this location based with my experience.”
“They have really stepped up and have become a premier provider for family care. The Doctor is great. He actually cares enough to remember you. He doesn't skip a beat. Outside of the minor arguments with the front desk it's a good place to seek and sustain care. From cradle to grave. I've been going there since the 5th grade. I've seen many changes and staff come and go. Owners changed hands and that old schooled though good was outdated. He changed the name and moved the building. Moving into a trendy space custom designed with tech in mind. Streamlining care all while increasing efficiency and most of all patient care and satisfaction. I'll never go anywhere else.”

“Dr. Hertel is the best Doctor I've ever seen. He acted like we knew each other for years when I first met him and is very relatable. He gets things done, is genuinely concerned with your health and follows up with you quickly. My whole family goes to him and my dad is extremely picky about doctors and even he likes Dr. Hertel.Also, Tamera is wonderful as well. She had to take my blood and give a shot and I didn't even feel the needle at all. I'm only going to her haha. Both 5 stars all the way around!!!”

“I've been going here for several years. The staff are quite helpful, the on-site lab is quick and super easy, and, most importantly, the medical care is uncommonly strong. I treat with Dr. Ho, and recommend him without qualifications. He's a revelation. For one thing, he's a conscientious physician. He listens carefully and examines thoroughly. For another, he's uniquely adept at issue spotting. He's picked up on things that my specialists have missed. He clearly possesses an encyclopedic mind. Even better still, he's judicious--yet highly effective--in his treatment plans. Bottom line: If you're looking for primary medical care, this is the correct choice.”

“Ive been going to this office for over 20 years; even before Optum bought the practice. There were some corporate/management bumps that had to get worked out but I loved my care providers so much, I didnt leave. They seem to have worked them out now.
My health care providers there literally saved my life. I ended up having cardiac surgery and Im doing great. I feel listened to, understood, and they are very compassionate.”
