“Le Port Huntington Harbor has been nothing short of amazing. My son is in the Spanish Immersion program and he loves it! His first teacher, Mrs. Jaramillo is amazingggg! I enjoy still seeing her around campus and at events. His current teacher, Mrs. Nava is fantastic!!! She puts a lot of care into teaching and has patience like you would not believe. The school puts on great events for the kiddos and families. We are very grateful for this school. :)”
“My daughter has been at CEEP for a few months now. Like most parents, I was very nervous about putting her in childcare. That feeling quickly diminished when I saw how much my daughter enjoyed attending. Not only are the teachers great, nurturing, and caring, but they provide parent feedback and encourage parent involvement with various activities for the holidays. They use an app called Brightwheel and they sent any communications and videos through the app, making it very easy to keep up to date and in contact. My husband and I are already planning on putting our baby in CEEP once she turns two. I’m really grateful to have found a preschool that provides structure while seamlessly providing a safe and happy environment while we work.”

“I can't rave enoughAbout Mrs Rebecca as a teacher. Both my kids attended WNS and it was such a wonderful experience. My oldest who is 7 now still talks about moments he had at that school. At first I was intimidated by the parent involvement BUT I fell in love with it. It's great to be able to attend a couple days a month especially when you're a new mom and nervous about your child attending school the first time. It's rewarding feeling to help out, see what your child is doing and how the classroom runs. You can see the love of what she does and the care for each child. I learned SO much from Mrs Rebecca especially how to handle tough situations with toddlers just by watching her do her magic. She's incredible. Also because of your involvement you then make such great friendships with the other parents and creates such a great feeling knowing them and their children. It's my favorite preschool ever.”
“WE LOVE BRIGHTSTAR! I have my 4 kiddos all in different classes I absolutely love all the teachers and staff. My kids have learned so much since being enrolled here. “We absolutely love Concordia. We plan to do summer every year there and hope to see them thrive and grow. We started with Concordia with our eldest daughter when she was 3. I started out as a very nervous parent and suddenly some years later have grown to include Concordia as my family. After a few years my second child also came here and graduated before moving to Cerritos elementary. I couldn’t ask for a better start for them. The most loving & trustworthy group. Both my children have grown so much under Miss Medinas direction alongside all the other fabulous teachers. I highly recommend!”

“The JBaby program has a variety of events to choose from and it’s a great opportunity to meet other community members and for our tots to socialize. My family especially enjoyed “the summer of fun” series where Dani + team setup an area near the pool with toys for the kiddos. I’m really impressed with the investment in the programming and looking forward to our continued membership post JBaby.”
“My son has been attending Sunny Day for two years now. First it was daycare, and now preschool. They have been very communicative about any issues that arise and have always handled them in a professional manner. We toured a number of facilities, and this one is both affordable and provides a great environment for my son to learn and grow socially as well as academically.”
“My son has been attending Kidz First for almost 2 years and we feel that it’s been one of the best decisions we made for him as a family. He loves ALL his teachers and staff, and most importantly, they love him, too. Everyone cares about each child and their classrooms are built for education and play.
Everything the teachers and staff do for the children is intentional, and it is evident when you walk into each classroom, see the work they bring home and even see how the playground is set up. I toured many schools and felt this playground was planned out very thoughtfully for young children.
They also help with potty training and teach emotional regulation.
I plan to put my daughter in Kidz First when she is at the enrollment age so I highly recommend Kidz first for families who want to put their children in a safe, super loving school. A bonus is that they are open till 6pm.”

“I remember making that first phone call to ask questions. Each person I spoke with was patient and expressed care which I appreciated as a mom first entering into the preschool world. It’s a big transition! We scheduled our tour to show our daughter and completed our application. It was a great experience! We are incredibly grateful for the staff. From first day nerves to now our daughter feels excited to go to school, we are so happy we chose ABC Development Preschool (Morris). Our daughter is learning and having fun in the process. We highly recommend to families looking for a school that’s a safe place to trust with your little one!”

The location is beautiful, the little ones get lots of outdoor play & Ms. Cori is wonderful with children. “Great church nice people. Excellent for weddings! Absolutely beautiful Sanctuary with wonderful stained glass depicting scenes from the Bible. The preschool is there for the little ones during the week. I hear great things about it. There are plans to move the Church of Reflections there. Once that happens, the church will become a great destination for tourists and locals alike!”

“We have loved being a part of the LVCC Preschool community for the past 4 years. My son attended for 2 years, and my daughter is just finishing her first. The teachers are all very kind and loving and work with you to address your child’s individual needs. Mrs. Luyben and the school leadership anre also excellent at communicating about special days, activities, school needs, and new experiences for the kids.
The school offers fun after school activity days at least 2x each month, and they celebrate most holidays in creative ways. I have also been really impressed with the quality of the art projects, playtime, and learning of basic letters, numbers, and shapes.
I also want to note that, even though it is a Christian preschool and associated with the LVCC church, and we are non-Christians (but people of faith), I never felt pressure nor excessive Christian messaging. There was always a nice respectful balance of lovely Bible quotes and prayers, while respecting that our family was not Christian. The faith-based preschool is really expressed in their love and honoring of the sacredness of childhood. Which I love!
I am grateful that LVCC Preschool was my kids’ first experience with school! Definitely worth checking out for anyone looking for a kind, warm, creative, play-based preschool experience for their little!”

“We moved over to this location from Buena Park. The director and staff were very accommodating and ensured that the transition was smooth. My wife and I really like the the care here and feel it is very good (as is the Buena Park location). I was surprised at some of the negative reviews from earlier, but I'm guessing that might have been when the place was under different management.”

“I went here when it was called Sun Garden Elementary School. I started in 1955 as a second grader. In fact Iva Mears was my teacher! She was strict but a warm, caring person..kind of grandmotherly and almost 60 years later I still credit her with instilling my love of reading to her..in fact all 5 of my teachers--Everson, Smith, Duckworth, and Harris. That's how good this school was in those carefree days in my memories and old movies. By the way across the street was a dairy farm owned by Mike Russell's family and Rodney had a horse named Brownie just up Trask. Thank you for letting me share...John Gose”

“We love Growing Tree!! We sent both our boys there and loved every minute of this experience. They grew so much and learned how to be polite and great kids. We were amazed at how they became so prepared for elementary school. Thank you Mrs. Serreta, thank you for being a second mom to me. There were stressful days when I would be in a rush and I forgot my lunch for work and she would give me snacks to get me through my day. She is such a caring a wonderful angel on this earth. So much love for Growing Tree, such a huge blessing to our family.”
