“This was a lot of fun.

We went online and reserved a space. I liked that we only had to pay for one person to make the reservation, rather than a group rate, and we were able to pay separately there. (Btw, it was electronic payment only. No cash.)

When we arrived, we found parking in one of the paid parking structures. We walked over and had to walk up the stairs to get to the location. It's not much to look at from the outside, but inside is pretty cool.

We walked inside and they were ready for us. We all signed a waiver, and had to show our IDs because they said it's classified as a 'bar' because they serve alcoholic beverages.

There were 7 of us ladies and we had 2 lanes for 90 minutes. Everyone was a novice, but we made it fun and the coach (Sebastian) was great too. He set us up nicely, and kept coming back to help us out, and his guidance actually worked. Lol. He gave us pointers and games to play, which made it interesting. Overall, I would say this was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this outing for a group.

Also, just as a side note, there are several food spots within walking distance if you're hungry afterwards. Or before. (we chose a ramen spot)”

“I gave it a 4 star because of the greeter Kevin, he didn’t welcome us or say hello. When completing the waiver I had a question and he just waived his hand. He was just rude, not even a smile. This was our 1st time here and he made me feel like I was a bother.”

I chose amber sky and believe me it was such a wonderful experience of height motion distance actual but virtual reality and the happiness of fighting the aliens ..yess you can use a super special gun too. For a fun family experience or cool times with your friends, go for it..thank you to the wonderful friendly staff for being helpful. Kindly reach 15 mins early to check in , wear the gear..freshen up etc.thank you again for my memorable experience. Will come back again”

“How did I not know this wonderful place existed?! We were looking for unique and interactive options for our daughter's 5th birthday party. Our search led us to Craft and Light! From the get go, communication was amazing in regards to setting up and securing the date, time and party details. Our instructor Robin was prompt on party day and was so kind and thoughtful. Several parents at the party were asking about this place, how we found it and interested in coming back for parties of their own, whether it be for one of their adult workshops or birthday parties. The kids LOVED making slime and the craft allowed for a perfect amount of time for lunch/cake time as well. 10/10 recommend Craft + Light Creative Arts Studio. Thank you for making our daughter's birthday party a dream come true. She is still talking about it!”

“THESE CLUB OWNERS ARE NOT RACIST!! I have had my show here for the last 4 years. John and Scarlett have never ever displayed any type of racism towards me as a black man. In fact, it's been completely opposite. They have embraced me as family. So I read a review of someone saying they were racist and honestly it affected me personally. It bothers me when someone gives a label on racism when it does not apply here. I've seen racism, I know what racist people do and How they Act And John and Scarlett The owners of the The StandUp Comedy Club DO NOT fit that description. Again, I have been here four years And I haven't seen nothing close to racism.. I've seen ignorant people trying to get free stuff and run out on their bill without paying, And when it doesn't go their way People are quick to pull The Race card. So Again, I am a black man who has been working at the stand-up comedy club for the past 4 years and John and Scarlett The owners has shown me nothing but love. Let's be careful how we Put False Accusations on People. I considered that I'm not only friends but family and I hate to see them get railroaded that's why I wrote this”

“Great lil Art Studio in the Bixby Knolls area in Long Beach. Awesome place with different art medium classes & I had my Daughter's Bday party there. Kids had a GREAT time! Really nice owners, cool spot, local, clean facility. Near other shops, bakeries, restaurants, and local brewery. 5 stars!”

“Everything was really great and clean. Quick and easy. My room did smell like someone had previously smoked a cigar in it. It didn’t bother me enough to complaint and switch rooms, but I wish it didn’t smell like that.”

“Getting married here was a dream come true. First of all, the Ebell team was extremely easy to work with. Katie and Jen were responsive, kind, and helpful! Their vendor recommendations list was also great!

The Tres LA catering and drinks were delicious. The short rib was melt in your mouth luxurious, and they have a wonderful hors d’oeuvres selection. They also were extremely accommodating and helped us make our menu almost entirely gluten-free!

The wait staff and bartenders were extremely professional and the timing of the food was impeccable!

They have gotten the flow of weddings down to an art form here. The event seamlessly transitions through spaces and the staff changes the rooms over without anyone even noticing.

Lastly, the whole venue is unique, charming, and full of character. Replete with high ceilings, modern chandeliers, abundant natural light, vibrant greenery, and beautiful tile work, the central courtyard is truly stunning. The parlor feels like a welcoming living room that is full of character, with eclectic art and comfortable seating, and even a working piano. Lastly, of course the dining room is elegant and classic with its warm wood and large windows. 11/10 recommend getting married here!!”

“I love visiting this Japanese garden. It's so tranquil and serene and I get to visit my alma mater.

Be sure to make reservations. There is a parking lot just across of the garden. Parking will depend on the amount of time to choose.”

“Late Review, but worth it! I hosted a party at The Loft on 12/13/2025, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. I began searching for venues around October and came across The Loft online. From the very first tour, I was genuinely impressed. The space is beautiful inside and, most importantly to me, extremely clean. You can tell right away that they take pride in maintaining their venue, even during showings, which I personally think says a lot. The event itself was so much fun, and the entire planning process felt smooth because I had incredible support from Charlotte and Dominique every step of the way. They were communicative, helpful, and always willing to provide guidance when needed. I also really appreciated that The Loft allows outside vendors, which made it easy to fully customize my event and bring my vision to life. Whenever I needed recommendations Charlotte and Dominique were happy to connect me with vetted, reliable vendors, which was a huge plus and made planning even easier. Overall, my experience was fantastic. The space is spacious, CLEAN, and well-maintained, but what truly sets The Loft apart is the level of care, communication, and support from the owners. That's incredibly important to me when booking a venue, and they absolutely delivered. I can definitely see myself booking with The Loft again in the future. “I never expected to find such a cool historic site in Compton. The adobe building dates back to the 1800s and gives a glimpse into early California ranch life. The docents were knowledgeable and really brought the history to life. It’s small but charming, with beautiful old furniture and grounds. A real hidden gem for history buffs”

“We toured The Mayne Events Center in June 2024 and were immediately sold. My daughter had her 1st birthday at The Centre in Lakewood, so we already knew that the food by TGIS Catering was top-tier. While we were close to booking at The Centre again, once my daughter saw The Mayne, it was a done deal!
Working with Monica was such a breeze, she was kind, patient, super knowledgeable, and shared so many great ideas. She even provided a vendor contact list that helped us find some of the amazing people we ended up using. The food was outstanding; we served the plated duet steak and chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies. They also handled Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, and Kosher meals perfectly. Every single person felt like a guest and was well taken care of.
The bartending was great, the service was top-notch, the bathrooms were clean, and the AC was perfect. The space accommodated all our extras perfectly including a candy cart, mini pancakes, a Maruchan station, a magazine photo booth, a cartoonist, a DJ, and a band. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how beautiful the event was. Thank you, Monica, and the entire TGIS staff for making this amazing!”

“First time visit during 2024 Kwanzaa celebration. WOW! Who knew Long Beach had such an engaging dynamic art scene of Black artists! Painters, crafters, all had their works on display. Given the diversity of Long Beach there may also be displays of art from other Melanated people, and others, too. That night I was focused on the Black artists. Still, the variety of artists and art mediums was impressive. Once again, a treasure. A rare gem in Long Beach. It reminds me of the William Grant Still Arts Center in LA. Worth the 30 minutes drive from LA. When you go, buy something. Enhance your home with original art. Support local artists!”

“Don't stay here expecting modern amenities. Do stay here if you want a glimpse of the past. We stayed in one of the Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable, but walls are thin. You will definitely hear your neighbors so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Exploring the ship was amazing. By staying at the hotel on the ship you can basically explore 24 hours a day if you're so inclined. My only negative is that vegetarian/vegan food choices among the various dining options are very limited.”

“I'm in love with this aquarium!! It's such a cool experience where I get to just have fun. It's really nice to just relax and chill out with friends or family. I love seeing all the different animals and I swear I learn something new every time I go!! It's usually around $50 per ticket which is pricey for me so I don't go too often but when I do I feel like it's totally worth it. I've only ever gone to the aquarium but I'm looking forward to checking out the whale watching one of these days! I feel like there's a whole bunch to look at and it tends to look really fancy to me. I highly recommend checking it out once! The employees are kind and there's a couple that seem super into showing all the cool things these animals can do which is great! I love learning from someone who is passionate about their job!”

Took my 10 1/2 yr old last night,per her request, and had a scream of a time. My voice won't recover for another week. Loved it so much. We also went to the boo-fet dinner meet and greet. Food was all amazing. Monsters meeting was good to do before hand took some of the edge off.(At least for this old lady, who was terrified!) I highly recommend doing this.

“I had my daughters sweet 16. Here at thr QD VENUE and let me tell u. This place. Is. The best place to have u event. Tom and his son wife. They all work together with the staff they. Have. Make. Any event. Sooo soo special and they go. Above and beyond to make sure that everyone is listen to and what they envision is what they get. From the food to. The bar to the. Service to the parking lot everything is. Carefully taken care of the food. Omg. The candy table. Wow. They even take. Some pictures of u event. And. The pictures they take. Are. Soo sooo nice and they capture moments that are truly priceless and to the soul it’s my second event. Here with them. And the upgrades they have done to. The place. Its. A must must must see to believe. I will attach some photos but i love this place they made my daughters. Sweet 16 magical they really do care and take the time to do everything nice and they treat Ther staff. With respect and they do take care of everything u can possibly want or think of.
