“We had such a great time! Perfect host and for most of us, it was our first time making candles. Got to make 3 and I’d definitely come back and do it again.”
“This review is a long time coming. I was married at the Ebell almost 10 years ago. It is a stunning venue with so much character. The event was incredibly smooth, as was the process. We just visited again for a friend's wedding and I would say it is even more spectacular.”
“GREAT LOCATION. I used the upper level smaller area, it was perfect. Jason and staff were amazing helping and providing little things I need to create the perfect graduation party for my baby. Thanks bunches!”

“Super cool place! Great place for a family activity for all ages. They have classes for children afterschool and classes for working adults! I personally recommend Natanya's draw and chats; she's a wonderful teacher and person😁 For sure coming here again and bringing my friends!!”
“I recently hosted an event at The Ovation Square in Whittier and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The venue side of the space is stunning, modern, and super versatile for any type of event. From the lighting to the layout, everything felt high-end but still welcoming. The team was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. My guests were blown away by how beautiful and well-organized everything was. If you’re looking for a stylish, professional space for your next event, I highly recommend The Ovation Square. They truly take the stress out of event planning!”
“Top Floor Event Space at The Carvery is a hidden gem. After 31 years of producing an event for our nonprofit organization, we needed to change things up largely due to the limited space opportunities in Downtown Long Beach. We worked with their superb staff and secured the space along with buying out the restaurant for the evening. After the event, nearly every guest comment was about how special the space was and how delicious the food was as well. There are so many options for using the space and the restaurant - staff there considered every option to make our event the best for us and our dear guests. The day after the event, we actually booked the space again for 2027 - it was THAT good. If you asked me what went wrong, I would honestly tell you NOTHING. If you're looking for an event space - don't sleep on seeing if this is the right space for you!”
“Amazing place to celebrate a special occasion! We had a great time and would love to come back. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you so much! ?”
“If you are looking for the best candy themed business in LA County make sure that you visit. Candified is located in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach CA. They have so much your mind will be blown so be careful. They hold private parties for all. You need to come in and take in all of the varieties to choose from. See you there!”
“Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a peaceful hidden gem tucked inside California State University, Long Beach. The garden is smaller than some larger Japanese gardens, but the layout feels carefully planned with winding paths, traditional landscaping, a koi pond, waterfalls, bridges, and quiet corners throughout. It is the type of place where taking your time matters more than trying to see everything quickly, and the smaller size actually makes the experience feel more intimate.
The koi pond is easily the centerpiece of the garden and one of the most enjoyable parts to spend time around. The fish are large and active, and the surrounding greenery, stone features, and water elements create a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden does a good job balancing natural scenery with traditional Japanese design, with each section offering a slightly different view and feeling as you walk through.
What I liked most about this garden is how calm it feels despite being located on a college campus. It feels separated from the surrounding area once you enter, making it a nice place for a quiet walk, photography, or just taking a break. The landscaping is well maintained, and the entire space has a slower pace that encourages you to actually stop and appreciate the details.
The visit is fairly quick since the garden is compact, but it works well as a relaxing stop rather than a destination that takes up an entire afternoon. Reservations are required, so it is worth checking availability before going. Admission is free, although parking is an extra cost and can be the main inconvenience.
Overall, Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden is a beautiful spot if you are looking for a peaceful escape rather than a large attraction. The koi pond, thoughtful design, and quiet atmosphere make it a place worth visiting, especially on a nice day when you can take your time walking through the garden.”
“We enjoyed dinner and a Pops evening with the Long Beach Symphony in the convention center. As expected, the acoustics were less than superior given the environment but it was none the less, a fine evening outing.”

“I took two rounds of improv classes that were a lot of fun and rewarding that sharpened my acting skills and I rented the theater out for a comedy show which was super fun and easy to do if you’re an indie artist wanting to perform! So glad I found this treasure of a theater!”
“This venue was pretty cool.
We enjoyed the contest that was held here.
Parking was alittle crazy. But the venue it self was pleasant.”

“Classic old movie house. Beautiful look, excellent shock a gogo film festival. Area around has cool restaurants, but their is a lot of homeless in the area. So be weary while you're out there.”
“Used to meet my dad here for breakfast every Sunday until dementia took him away from me. Solid place to eat. The bar is excellent. Great service, and they pour a good cocktail. Good selection of beers too. I recommend this place.”
“So many cool exhibits. I've never seen so many starfish and jellyfish before. The kids were so excited to see all the sea life. They have a rain forest exhibit with those cool poison dart frogs. Multiple touch pools. We all enjoyed and it was well worth it. Parking is right there and I paid $12 for 3 hours. Many restaurants nearby. The whole thing was dope.”

“Don't stay here expecting modern amenities. Do stay here if you want a glimpse of the past. We stayed in one of the Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable, but walls are thin. You will definitely hear your neighbors so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Exploring the ship was amazing. By staying at the hotel on the ship you can basically explore 24 hours a day if you're so inclined. My only negative is that vegetarian/vegan food choices among the various dining options are very limited.”

“Hosted three events in this space and it's my top pick for an elegant space with plenty of free parking and professional staff. I'd double the amount of stars if it were possible for this rating!”
“A welcoming and well-organized Masonic lodge serving the Long Beach community.
The lodge maintains a traditional meeting environment that reflects the historic structure and symbolism associated with Freemasonry. The lodge room is well maintained and provides an appropriate setting for meetings and degree work.
Members are friendly and committed to fellowship, education, and community service. The lodge hosts regular meetings and activities that strengthen the sense of brotherhood within the organization.
Overall, International City Masonic Lodge represents a strong example of an active and supportive Masonic lodge.”

“We had my son’s first birthday party here, and it turned out great!
The space is VERY cute. It is already very nicely decorated with tasteful greenery, wooden tables, and accent chairs. All we had to do was add some balloons and a little decoration. There are mirrors along one wall which really opens up the space.
The AC was working great and was very much appreciated for those of us setting up even though the weather wasn’t that hot.
There is a bar area for drinks. And we used the back smaller room to occupy the kids and keep them away from the front door.
There is plenty of free parking, which makes it so convenient for guests.
Ronda and all the staff were very helpful in answering all my questions ahead of time. I would 100% recommend this space for small events.”
“Great venue for any occasion! One stop shop is always great. Be sure to check out their packages..trust me “ stress free”! Superb customer service & EFFECTIVE communication a major plus!
Prom2024 was a hit!!!!”
“Visited this course again after a long time and had a really good time. It’s definitely not an easy course because the fairways are pretty narrow, so you have to keep the ball in play. That actually makes it more fun and challenging.
One thing I really like about this place is that it always feels a little cooler than other courses nearby, so even on hot days the round is still enjoyable. The course was in decent shape, and the pro shop staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Not the easiest course around, but it’s a fun track and I’d definitely come back and play it again.”

“Beautiful property with all the amenities. Great food & drink offerings, bar, resteraunt, pool, spa, and fire pit open til 11:00pm, swan paddle boats (free to use for guests), wonderful views, surrounded by GREAT food, and endless things to do and see within walking distance.”
“Great people with great purpose. They sure make a guy like me feel comfortable. This is an excellent lodge with a super duper group of members. Like I said, "Great people, Great Purpose". I love that.”
“Quiet romance ride with lots of paddling, very easy. Best time is sunset or at night. Pet friendly, cheap. Must go online to reserve a time arrive 15min early and enjoy. U can light up, listen to music and bring a snack. 2hours”
“Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and then relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada - any time I get the chance to be close to or next to the water...This is and always will be my charter of choice. Today was my second time onboard and it was an even more amazing experience this time around. It started off a bit quiet but soon enough we were all blessed to see a pod of bottlenose dolphins, a sperm whale (which we were told are a rare sighting), a blue whale, and more than a few Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish). Harbor Breeze tickets can be purchased online or at their booth (dock #2). I believe it's a few dollars off when purchased online (either way, it's worth it). Seating is plentiful no matter where you decide to be, and they also have snacks/drinks/alcohol available for purchase. As of 06/08/23 parking is $9 in the Aquarium parking garage ($8 w|validation) And please, tips are appreciated! Mahalo, Harbor Breeze Charter &' the crew!”
“Music venue and night club. I went to support Violet Brown and the group she is promoting called Unkonventional Kings. Nice sound system and stage area. The turnout wasn't too packed so it was enjoyable. We left before it became a night club fighting for seats.”
“Rob Was put host and was really awesome. He showed us tips and tricks with the axes and knife because it was our first time. Made out experience awesome and made us feel at home. Would recommend this place”
