“This was a lot of fun.

We went online and reserved a space. I liked that we only had to pay for one person to make the reservation, rather than a group rate, and we were able to pay separately there. (Btw, it was electronic payment only. No cash.)

When we arrived, we found parking in one of the paid parking structures. We walked over and had to walk up the stairs to get to the location. It's not much to look at from the outside, but inside is pretty cool.

We walked inside and they were ready for us. We all signed a waiver, and had to show our IDs because they said it's classified as a 'bar' because they serve alcoholic beverages.

There were 7 of us ladies and we had 2 lanes for 90 minutes. Everyone was a novice, but we made it fun and the coach (Sebastian) was great too. He set us up nicely, and kept coming back to help us out, and his guidance actually worked. Lol. He gave us pointers and games to play, which made it interesting. Overall, I would say this was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this outing for a group.

Also, just as a side note, there are several food spots within walking distance if you're hungry afterwards. Or before. (we chose a ramen spot)”

“How did I not know this wonderful place existed?! We were looking for unique and interactive options for our daughter's 5th birthday party. Our search led us to Craft and Light! From the get go, communication was amazing in regards to setting up and securing the date, time and party details. Our instructor Robin was prompt on party day and was so kind and thoughtful. Several parents at the party were asking about this place, how we found it and interested in coming back for parties of their own, whether it be for one of their adult workshops or birthday parties. The kids LOVED making slime and the craft allowed for a perfect amount of time for lunch/cake time as well. 10/10 recommend Craft + Light Creative Arts Studio. Thank you for making our daughter's birthday party a dream come true. She is still talking about it!”

“Great lil Art Studio in the Bixby Knolls area in Long Beach. Awesome place with different art medium classes & I had my Daughter's Bday party there. Kids had a GREAT time! Really nice owners, cool spot, local, clean facility. Near other shops, bakeries, restaurants, and local brewery. 5 stars!”

“I love visiting this Japanese garden. It's so tranquil and serene and I get to visit my alma mater.

Be sure to make reservations. There is a parking lot just across of the garden. Parking will depend on the amount of time to choose.”

“Getting married here was a dream come true. First of all, the Ebell team was extremely easy to work with. Katie and Jen were responsive, kind, and helpful! Their vendor recommendations list was also great!

The Tres LA catering and drinks were delicious. The short rib was melt in your mouth luxurious, and they have a wonderful hors d’oeuvres selection. They also were extremely accommodating and helped us make our menu almost entirely gluten-free!

The wait staff and bartenders were extremely professional and the timing of the food was impeccable!

They have gotten the flow of weddings down to an art form here. The event seamlessly transitions through spaces and the staff changes the rooms over without anyone even noticing.

Lastly, the whole venue is unique, charming, and full of character. Replete with high ceilings, modern chandeliers, abundant natural light, vibrant greenery, and beautiful tile work, the central courtyard is truly stunning. The parlor feels like a welcoming living room that is full of character, with eclectic art and comfortable seating, and even a working piano. Lastly, of course the dining room is elegant and classic with its warm wood and large windows. 11/10 recommend getting married here!!”

“Late Review, but worth it! I hosted a party at The Loft on 12/13/2025, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. I began searching for venues around October and came across The Loft online. From the very first tour, I was genuinely impressed. The space is beautiful inside and, most importantly to me, extremely clean. You can tell right away that they take pride in maintaining their venue, even during showings, which I personally think says a lot. The event itself was so much fun, and the entire planning process felt smooth because I had incredible support from Charlotte and Dominique every step of the way. They were communicative, helpful, and always willing to provide guidance when needed. I also really appreciated that The Loft allows outside vendors, which made it easy to fully customize my event and bring my vision to life. Whenever I needed recommendations Charlotte and Dominique were happy to connect me with vetted, reliable vendors, which was a huge plus and made planning even easier. Overall, my experience was fantastic. The space is spacious, CLEAN, and well-maintained, but what truly sets The Loft apart is the level of care, communication, and support from the owners. That's incredibly important to me when booking a venue, and they absolutely delivered. I can definitely see myself booking with The Loft again in the future. “If you are looking for the best candy themed business in LA County make sure that you visit. Candified is located in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach CA. They have so much your mind will be blown so be careful. They hold private parties for all. You need to come in and take in all of the varieties to choose from. See you there!”

“This year has been spent at numerous convention centers across California. I'd say the Long Beach Convention Center is a solid 4 star. Definitely not my favorite, but a solid spot. The orientation and shape of the convention center doesn't feel the most spacious or comfortable and noise from breakout rooms carries into other spaces. But the pros are that the location is convenient with lots of restaurants close by. Post-conference happy hours can easily be housed at the nearby hotels making it a short walk to the fun!”

“My wife recommened this place after she had birthday lunch w her class members yesterday. I was curious about this restaurant so we decided to celebrate for lunch on Valentine's day. We got there around 12. All tables were filled except some patio tables. Thank God!! We sat at the round table in the middle of dining area. Haha...great spot and we had the golf course view. I love golf course view and makes me relaxed, comfy. As lunch menus, they are more burger and sandwich specialty restaurant w affordable prices, great quality, and good ambiance as a bonus. I am almost shocked about such low prices of wine, margarita, and foods. Most of restaurants have double prices for the wine and food. I got bacon bluecheese burger w half fries half onion rings, magarita, a glass of Merlot for the drink, my wife got tender chicken w fries, same Merlot. My 1st taste for margarita was not strong, very mild, wishing they put more tequila and give more flavors. It took lots of time until we got the foods. But we were o.k. talking and looking at the Green thru the window. For my burger, loved the brioche bun w chargrilled patty w lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, grilled onions, and blue cheese crumble. Wow!!! Tasty like real fancy burger. Fries and onion rings both were so good. For my wife's tender chicken, first huge portion of 4 tender chicken strip. Super crunchy!!! She loved the tender white chicken meats. Overall, the lunch service is little slow due to the many customers but the price, portion, ambiance are great. I want to come again for the weekend brunch. They open at 7 in the morning. Pros Parking: 4 stars, enough Ambiance: 5 stars, so comfy, great view Price: so Cheap for the wine, even foods $13 Quality: 5 stars Service: 4 stars, slow during lunch time You need some patience.... Cons No Tacos....they have nacho, quesadilla, and tostada. I wish they have street tacos on the menu. Great place for the elders, birthday, some events.”

“Don't stay here expecting modern amenities. Do stay here if you want a glimpse of the past. We stayed in one of the Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable, but walls are thin. You will definitely hear your neighbors so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Exploring the ship was amazing. By staying at the hotel on the ship you can basically explore 24 hours a day if you're so inclined. My only negative is that vegetarian/vegan food choices among the various dining options are very limited.”

“First time visit during 2024 Kwanzaa celebration. WOW! Who knew Long Beach had such an engaging dynamic art scene of Black artists! Painters, crafters, all had their works on display. Given the diversity of Long Beach there may also be displays of art from other Melanated people, and others, too. That night I was focused on the Black artists. Still, the variety of artists and art mediums was impressive. Once again, a treasure. A rare gem in Long Beach. It reminds me of the William Grant Still Arts Center in LA. Worth the 30 minutes drive from LA. When you go, buy something. Enhance your home with original art. Support local artists!”

“I'm in love with this aquarium!! It's such a cool experience where I get to just have fun. It's really nice to just relax and chill out with friends or family. I love seeing all the different animals and I swear I learn something new every time I go!! It's usually around $50 per ticket which is pricey for me so I don't go too often but when I do I feel like it's totally worth it. I've only ever gone to the aquarium but I'm looking forward to checking out the whale watching one of these days! I feel like there's a whole bunch to look at and it tends to look really fancy to me. I highly recommend checking it out once! The employees are kind and there's a couple that seem super into showing all the cool things these animals can do which is great! I love learning from someone who is passionate about their job!”

“We had my son’s first birthday party here, and it turned out great!

The space is VERY cute. It is already very nicely decorated with tasteful greenery, wooden tables, and accent chairs. All we had to do was add some balloons and a little decoration. There are mirrors along one wall which really opens up the space.

The AC was working great and was very much appreciated for those of us setting up even though the weather wasn’t that hot.

There is a bar area for drinks. And we used the back smaller room to occupy the kids and keep them away from the front door.

There is plenty of free parking, which makes it so convenient for guests.

Ronda and all the staff were very helpful in answering all my questions ahead of time. I would 100% recommend this space for small events.”

“The swan boat was so cool, you need to pedal your way to the water which is a good workout for your legs. A bit tiring for 1 hour but still it was a fun experience. Be sure to wear gym clothes, no high heels.”

“We hosted our wedding at the Petroleum Club in July of this summer, and let me just say that the attention the staff had was remarkable! Everyone who attended my wedding spoke highly about how attentive the Staff and bartenders were. We had the pleasure of being helped by Nicole, who was so sweet and patient with changes we made. “Played in a tournament here Thursday and Friday course was in great shape, greens fast it was a great test. Plenty of room here on the range and putting greens and many other areas to practice short game and chipping. For a public course they really do a good job of providing everything”

“It been a long time since I went to the pike movie theater it brought back so many family members. Especially when you coming out on Tuesday you can get a nice discount on movie tickets. The movie theater is great they let you know where your seat is by placing a tape picture of your food you if you order it online and you can pick it up at food stand keeping it nice an warm. What a good service so far the clerk pop me in quick showing me where to go for my movie after showing my digital movie ticket it quite simple and fast. The movie showing in theaters is demon slayer new movie in the demon sliding door castle the sound quality quite loud but not enough to blow out your eardrum you do feel the vibrations the screening of the movie color very bright and vibrant on point with the animation almost close enough like a your phone or TV when you watch your anime series I wouldn't mind coming back again with my son when he older.”

“Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and then relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada - any time I get the chance to be close to or next to the water...This is and always will be my charter of choice. Today was my second time onboard and it was an even more amazing experience this time around.It started off a bit quiet but soon enough we were all blessed to see a pod of bottlenose dolphins, a sperm whale (which we were told are a rare sighting), a blue whale, and more than a few Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish). Harbor Breeze tickets can be purchased online or at their booth (dock #2). I believe it's a few dollars off when purchased online (either way, it's worth it). Seating is plentiful no matter where you decide to be, and they also have snacks/drinks/alcohol available for purchase. As of 06/08/23 parking is $9 in the Aquarium parking garage ($8 w|validation) And please, tips are appreciated! Mahalo, Harbor Breeze Charter &' the crew!”

“Our party of 4 stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms, pre Princess cruise. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. We had a nice harbor view but being on the 4th floor the bridge blocked our views of the Queen Mary. If you want to see her from your room, ask for a higher floor.

My only bummer was lack of water in the lobby.. they tried to keep the pitcher full but it was constantly empty because people filled their water bottles and drained the pitchers. A water bottle filling station would have been great! I searched for one and found a water fountain but not with a bottle filler. I also wished for 24 hour coffee/tea in the lobby. I always think that is such a nice touch. We could have made it in our rooms but when sitting in the lobby it's nice to have that option right there.

The location was fine, close to both cruise ports but there was no food around really so we had to uber over the bridge. It was also noisy at night when small boats were blaring their music as they came back to the marina. Nothing the hotel can do about that but if you're sensitive to noise it's something watch out for.”

“I'm from Wisconsin and I saw the Long Beach dub All-Stars there after Cali vibes festival Friday night and I have to say that on that particular Friday night the sound at the festival really sucked up close but after the microphone fixes at the top we're done The band sounded so tight and so good I will say that it was better than the first day of the festival hands downI didn't take any pictures but I have videos I will try to post soon especially of *oh mama"Plus my buddy scored the setlist wicked”

“Long Beach Marriott is a large hotel. It has an on-site Starbucks, a bar and Mexican food restaurant. You can do a lot with their Bon Voy app, such as checking in/out, wifi and remote door access. There is plenty of free parking available outside. The gym/workout room looked decent as well as their outdoor pool. I attended a conference in one of their banquet rooms and it was spacious and comfortable. The room was nice and the bed was comfy as far as hotel beds go. Overall, I had a good experience.”

“Overall the room was comfortable and it had a small in cabinet refrigerator and a coffee maker. The room I was assigned had a musty smell throughout it which was unpleasant. The location is good and there are plenty of dining and retail shopping nearby. Inside the hotel there is a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop. The convention center is also within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful.”
