The Covenant

Shoe Stores
Hours: The Covenant is a popular business located in Monterey County that specializes in buying, selling, and trading sneakers, apparel, and other items. Many customers appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff who treat them with respect and offer a welcoming vibe. The store is especially appreciated by sneaker enthusiasts, as it provides a place to find and trade sneakers like purple lobsters and Yeezys. Customers often mention that the shop has a good selection and that the staff are fair and helpful, making it a favorite spot for repeat customers. In addition to sneakers, The Covenant sells a variety of other items, including backpacks, bikes, jewelry, and even some unusual items like puppies and electronics. The shop hosts community events such as egg and toy drives, showing their commitment to giving back to the local community. The atmosphere inside the store can sometimes feel quiet or vacant, with employees occasionally playing video games or appearing bored, which some customers find less engaging. However, there are mixed opinions about their pricing and buying practices. Some customers feel that the shop offers low prices for trades and resells shoes at high markups, often cropping images or hiding bids to make items appear more desirable online. Despite these criticisms, many still recommend The Covenant for its friendly service, community involvement, and diverse merchandise. Overall, it’s viewed as a good place for sneaker heads and collectors looking for a friendly environment and a variety of unique items.
