“Big Brand Tire & Service purchased Newton Brothers in the summer of 2025. Different sales software and a different sign on the front of the business, but most everything else is the same, with most of the staff having stayed plus some new faces.

Curren up front was welcoming and helpful and was able to get my vehicle on jacks within just a few minutes for a set of fairly priced tires.

I had a several options of tires, so selection was good, even the top tier prices were lower than I'd seen posted for nearby locations, including the popular big box option nearby.

Guest WiFi was really slow, but with solid 5g access on this stretch of Del Monterey, my phone's data was able to power my hotspot and I worked while I waited.

Service time was right at an hour. A steady stream of customers were all promptly and politely served. Both the front and service bay staff worked well together. I was impressed with the business and will return”
