“I have only been here twice, but they seem to do a good job on the Oil Change and Tire Rotation.I mistakenly made an appointment at a place with a similar name, Bay Service Automotive, and when I arrived there I was told I would have to leave my car for the day and come back. This was not stated to me when I made the appointment so I was upset (we only had the one car here and there was no place we could walk to and hang out for several hours even if we came back the next day.) Luckily we realized it was the wrong place and drove over to Bay Brakes Auto & Tires, and we're fortunate that they fit us in. They told us to come back in about an hour, so we walked over to Paris Bakery...which was closed! I didn't know they're closed on Tuesdays!We just walked around the area a bit and ended up at Peets Coffee, and an hour passed before we knew it. When we returned, they were already done.Next time I'll plan on going any day but Tuesday so I have an excuse to enjoy a yummy pastry while I wait! It's less than a half mile walk to Paris Bakery from Bay Brakes.So many places I called wanted me to pay well over $100 for a simple oil change for my 2007 car. Thanks to Bay Brakes, I payed a reasonable $60 and they rotated my tires as well.I will update this review after a couple more visits...we're taking my husband's car next time, since we didn't have it with us in Monterey last month.Make sure you call this place, not the other one, and make an appointment so you can get in and out with no fuss. They can get very busy here, which I noticed on my first visit. They are close to D the M Park, and lots of little shops, it's a great location.”

Phil was at the desk, had me pull right into the spot where they'd do the work. Team of 4 guys went to work, less than 30 minutes they were done AND put my best old tire on my spare and put it back under the bed for me. Quality, FAST, trustworthy, local, no appt needed, less than I was expecting to pay. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY”

“I am impressed with the quality of work I received at Newton Brothers. I have a 2015 Prius with an alignment issue caused by an accident. The car pulls to the right because the caster angle is off, something that can't be adjusted. Newton Brothers were able to diagnose the issue and also got me a few original used parts (cheaper of course), and then installed them for me. I got the car fixed in a few hours, and it drives perfect. Thank you!”
