“My favorite place. Very knowledgeable, helpful and always have the customer in mind. Open to taking pieces to your home to insure it is the right piece for you. We have bought multiple pieces from them and love every one”
“I made some prints for my first art show exhibition. I went to Carter Sexton and got some nice backing for the frames. Their Guillotine is amazing because its so large. I was able to cut down my 11x17 prints easily. It was really fun to operate such a large guillotine. I highly recommend you try it out for your large format prints.
Also the employees that work there are very helpful and cheerful. I feel very welcome when i am perusing the store looking for my next fancy pen.”

“We visited a couple of local framing shops before choosing Richard at Brentwood Art & Framing. His frame selection stood out—much more appealing than what we saw elsewhere—and his prices were very reasonable. Richard finished our project ahead of schedule and even helped arrange delivery for our 4' x 5' oil painting. The new piece has completely transformed the vibe of our living room.
Getting the frame right for such a large piece is really important, and we’re so glad we found Richard. We have another 4' x 5' painting on the way for a different room, and there’s no question—we’ll be going back to Richard to make sure it gets the perfect frame, too.”

“Spent some time while waiting on the Los Angeles rock tour to start and was blown away by the pictures and history of rock and roll in the gallery. Amazing place, could have spent all day looking through all the items there”
“I have entrusted Tori and the team at The Picture Framing Co for several years and have never been disappointed! The quality of work is outstanding. Tori is especially great at recommending frame options and placement. They have a great variety of wood floating frames and more modern metals. Great to work with and fun shop! Pop in.”
“A superb experience, the discovery of these old warehouses/docks converted into cultural places! Magnificent art galleries and extraordinary works. From the simplest budget to high prices but in accordance with the current market to discover artists recognized as new and surprising in talent and expression. I could come there two to three times a month with my friends just to spend one or two hours or the whole afternoon. I can't wait to come back.”

“If you want to feel rejuvenated, Go see GEORGIA ANNE MULDROW live!!! She is a musical virtuoso whose unparalleled talent is unmatched! She can do it all. God blessed us by sharing her gift to us all. Also, support the other talented musicians at "The World Stage." Don't cheat ya'self. Treat yourself”
“Alex is hands down THE best salesperson at any prop house I’ve been to. Any shopper will know that these long days, multitasking on our feet, and answering a million emails at once while scouring the shelves of a prop house can be overwhelming. Alex always meets you with a smile and a fantastic sense of humor, all while being so professional and accommodating. I was in and out of Alpha in less than an hour with all my questions answered and more! I can’t wait for my next visit. We <3 Alpha Medical!”
“This place is fantastic, the people are AMAZING! Alex and Jackie were phenomenal! Both of them took the time to get a feel for my pictures, find out how I wanted things to look and feel, and came up with a variety of options to make sure I would be happy with the end result. I can tell they are passionate about their work; absolute professionals who love their job. They even went out of their way to try to make sure things could work for my budget! I can't recommend this place enough. If you're going to get something framed, support a local business and get it done right the first time at Quick Frame By Hector!
(Sorry for the glare in my photos, I have a lot of windows!)”

“Came here for Mathieu Bitton's Paris Blues Q/A artist talk on 2/25/24. What an incredible artist, photographer, designer, producer, and grammy winner. He shared marvelous stories of his upbringing in Paris, venturing to flea markets, buying up rare vinyl records, and his love for Prince. He spoke about moving to Los Angeles at age 14 to be with his mother and being immersed in the LA culture. He also touched on him moving to New York to attend NYU boarding school. This is where his career really blossomed. As of right now, Mathieu Bitton has designed over 1000 LPs and CDs. He is a world-renowned collector of Black films. He has worked with and photographed many celebrities and recording artists. He was recently given a grammy for his work with Dave Chappelle. What truly amazing life stories. We had an amazing time with an amazing person. Can not wait for the book signing!”

“We felt so lucky to be in town during the Paul McCartney photography exhibition at the Gagosian, what an unforgettable experience! The photos were moving, personal, and beautifully presented. It was such a treat to see this side of the iconic Paul
MC Cartney and the Beatles!
The gallery staff were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. The space itself is spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully laid out. While it’s not a huge venue, it’s the perfect size to take your time and really enjoy the work without feeling overwhelmed.
Plus, it’s in a great part of town, making it easy to stroll around and grab a coffee or bite to eat afterward. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area — we loved it!”
“Fantastic barber shop. I would highly recommend Frankie, the owner. You know it’s a good haircut when your barber takes his time and spends an hour + cutting your hair. I’ve only been twice, but have gotten a fantastic cut each time. Not only is Olympia a barbershop, it’s also an art gallery! It’s definitely a cool experience getting a haircut in an art gallery, getting to view new art every time you come in for a cut. Would highly recommend.”

“Wonderful art in a hip little space! I really liked that they were showcasing all women artists and had some really unique and creative pieces. Parking super close wasn’t possible the night we went, but there was street parking a few blocks away.”
“I had the honor and privilege of having my nose pierced by the gifted hands of the Godfather of Leimert Park, Sika! The sound bowls, incense, and ambiance made it an exceptional experience that felt spiritually and culturally RIGHT! If you prefer the personal touch and precision of perfected piercing by hand, the Godfather SIKA is the man! I am very pleased with the placement, size, healing process and appearance. It's exactly what I wanted.”
“Copro Gallery is the best art gallery in Los Angeles. Tucked away towards the side of Bergamot Station, the gallery offers a wonderful collection of some of the best artists working today. The gallery was co-founded by Greg Escalante, one of the founders of Juxtapoz Magazine and is masterfully managed by Gary and Erica. The openings at Copro Gallery are legendary!”
“I felt like I was in a strange, different dimension, beyond just having good taste. However, the woman at the reception is very kind and there is a warm atmosphere. When I was having trouble finding a way to get home, he called me a taxi.”
“JD is a World class commercial art gallery with high quality works by high calibre acclaimed artists! Alia Dahl's current exhibition is simply spectacular at all manners of artistism!”

“I’ve had only good experiences with Clark’s. I’ve bought several items in several auctions, online and in person. I’ve also bought other items from around the country and shipping is almost always expensive, regardless of distance or purchase price. The most important factors are size and weight. So you might get a great deal for $200 but if it’s a large item and you’re not local, you might pay $200 shipping- not because you’re being ripped off, but because it’s a large or heavy item and that’s what it costs to pack and ship.”
“Unprecedented artists, craftsmanship, customer service and loyalty. I wouldn't think of bringing any projects to anyone other than Sandy and Bobbie at Picture Perfect.”
“Great black owned gallery near West Adams area. It represents a multitude of artists, emerging and established—across a wide age range. It is truly special and encouraging to see living artists from many different generations creating and selling art. The community that comes to engage with the art is multi generational as well. I truly love this space and happy to have a gallery in the LA area that creates space to amplify the artistic voices of the world.”
“It's nice they offer free classes for youth 7-13 lots of classes ... I would have liked to get some info about the place since it seems to have alot of historical things going on a tour or something not sure how it works and everyone was pleasant just got a lil annoyed when an employee responded to me like I was a child about my child but I didn't trip it was crowded and I was ready to leave it's good for the kids to have something to do”
“Rick is the best. Found an amazing accent chair here and what made it even better was the customer service he provided. Will be shopping here for furniture from now on!”
