Hours: Greenleaf Mindful Montessori LLC is a charming, inviting, and peaceful oasis for children. It is a beautiful, nurturing, and magical little school described as a cozy and creative space. The school offers an early childhood environment with stimulating opportunities for intentional learning. Children from 2.5 to 5.5 years old learn and work together in the same calm space, where they choose activities according to their diverse needs and desires. They learn to navigate with joy, focus, and purpose. The teachers are excellent and dedicated to every aspect of a child’s education, growth, and social progress. The curriculum balances Montessori lessons, with hands-on teaching and experiences in geography, science, and world cultures. Math and language are taught through Montessori materials that make these concepts visual and concrete. The school also goes beyond with enrichment classes like art, music, French, theatre, yoga, and mindfulness, often in an outdoor setting. Children create incredible, beautiful art projects. There are many wonderful events, from Halloween parades and potlucks to tea parties and a World Fest. The school fosters a strong community of parents, teachers, and students. Families describe it as an incredible preschool, a little gem in the big city, and the best decision for this tender chapter of a child’s life.
