“We love this sweet school. Our first child went for three years and loved it. Now our second is in his second year and the it's the same nurturing caring environment. They literally ask to stay longer at pickup time. Particularly I love the school's balance of early education and play - not overly rigorous but a little learning each day and keeping it fun. The staff is lovely, communicative and caring.”

“Our son attended My Lastochka for almost 2.5 years, and we could not be happier with this experience. This daycare center is truly wonderful — the teachers are caring, attentive, and very professional. Every child is surrounded by love and thoughtful guidance, creating safe and nurturing environment.
We always knew that our son was in good hands, not only learning and developing new skills, but also growing up in an atmosphere of kindness and respect. We are deeply grateful to the whole team at My Lastochka for their dedication and heartfelt work - Anna, Irina, Alina, Amuna and others. It has been an important and beautiful chapter in our child’s life!
Amazing daycare! Highly recommend!”

“We’ve been coming to The Children’s Courtyard since the moment our kid was old enough for the toddler room (transferred from WeVillage) and we love it!

Touring the place with Ms. Edie was what sold us. Won’t get into a deep comparison with WeVillage, but the way kids were running up to say hi to Ms. Edie during our tour was a complete 180 and just made it seem like she’s someone you can trust with your child.

Not only is Ms. Edie great, but the other teachers & staff members are wonderful as well! Ms. Lily, Ms. Madina, Ms. Gayane, Ms. Kristina, Ms. Anet, Ms. Sammy, Ms. Rose, Ms. Taylor, Mr. Bryan, Ms. Vino and of course, our kid’s current teacher, Ms. Andrea!!

Ms. Andrea has been an amazing teacher. Every class has a curriculum throughout the school year but she adds extra touches to make each kid feel special (daily super helper) and allows your child to grow individually. Hearing the way she spoke during our parent teacher conference this year was a blessing. We could tell in that meeting she cares for her students, understands their many quirks, and allows them to explore their passion.

In addition, the school has many activities throughout the year; from celebrating every holiday, a book fair (throwback to my elementary school days), to a jam pack lineup of pure fun during summer camp. The school even has additional curriculums offered such as karate & a science class if you’re looking to expand your child’s development.

Most activities are for kids but they also include parents in events as well: family movie night, several date nights (they’ll watch your kids till 10p usually around Valentine’s Day & Christmas), Mother & Father’s Day events etc.

We initially came because we needed childcare, were tired of WeVillage, and felt comfortable with Ms. Edie; but the children’s courtyard has ended up becoming a little family for us and we’re thankful and grateful for all it’s provided.

If you’re thinking of bringing your child to this school, we highly recommend it. Our kid loves everything about this school; I can’t even check out without my kid pointing out to me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. “Mom, this is Mr. Bryan’s kitchen!” Haha

PS apologies for any teachers/staff left off, not intentional!”

“Both my children began WeVillage from the time they were babies. My youngest started at 9 weeks and now she is 20 months! I always felt like my kids were safe, cared for, and adored. The people who cared for them always felt like a second family and I looked forward to chatting with them at drop off and pick up. My kids loved going here and there was never a tear when dropping off. If anything, they were like "bye mom! I need to go play now, go!" They were given opportunities to thrive and be their silly selves. We are going to miss WeVillage when we move! Thank you for caring for our babies during this special time.”

“We have sent two kids over the last 3 years to SOLCC and we love it. The teachers are all so wonderful. Not only are they caring with all the kids, but they are wonderful teachers. The classroom sizes are nice and small, so I feel like my kids get adequate attention. Miss Arus is the Director (she also used to be a teacher there before becoming the Director) and she is so great. Very responsive. They send updates to us parents almost daily, which is so nice. There is always a schedule of learning sent out to parents the week prior, so we know what subjects they are learning. They have music class which is included. You have the option to sign them up for soccer or dance. There are two huge playgrounds so great for the kiddos to run around, and they are covered so you don’t have to be concerned about sun burns. They also put on misters in the summer. The summer programs are also a ton of fun, they have all these activities arranged. This is a Lutheran school, so the kids do go to chapel, but it’s not rigid. They play music and make it fun. They are also very inclusive if you are not Lutheran and are very accommodating to all kiddos of different abilities. Miss Arus has been so flexible and helpful with allowing us to bring developmental therapists during school. It’s truly a blessing. The tuition is the most affordable I could find. They are transparent and listed on the website always. I can’t believe how affordable the program is and what amazing school it is. They don’t provide meals but you can purchase a hot and healthy meal through Bailee’s Plate.”

“Beautiful, nurturing, magical little school! My son has been here for 2 years. The teachers are all excellent and dedicated to every aspect of a child’s education, growth and social progress. I have spent a lot of time volunteering during the school day and have personally witnessed all aspects of this wonderful little school. The lessons range from geography, science and world cultures to just to mention a few. Everything is hands on teaching and experiences. Math and language are taught through Montessori materials that make these important concepts visual and concrete. The school Director, Vanessa, is also the Art teacher and wow! Your children will be creating some incredible, beautiful projects to treasure forever. My son starts Kindergarten in the fall. We will miss this school so much! I’m so happy he experienced pre-school at Greenleaf. It was the best decision we made for this tender chapter of his life. We will always cherish this time. Do not hesitate with this school. Schedule a tour and get to know Greenleaf!”
