In Aug/24 I shot my school thesis film and needed a tailor to take an ordinary flight attendant costume basic box skirt box jacket top. And turn it into a pinup knockout, gorgeous ensemble that the very famous Sophia dawned in the short film, DESIRE. Jenny did an amazing job with her in-house change room and measurement Sophia was able to come in and be properly measured and we knew exactly what we were going to get prior to leaving the costume with Jenny. “After a really unsettling experience at another laundromat full of suspicious characters, I decided to try The Oaks Laundry instead — and I’m so glad I did.

The place was spotless and well-maintained. The attendant was there cleaning for hours, making sure everything stayed that way, and even the bathrooms were clean. It was my first time there, and I accidentally put my laundry detergent beads in the dryer (plus had a little mix-up with the machines). I let the nice guy working there know, and he couldn’t have been kinder. He told me it was no big deal, helped take everything out, cleaned the machine right up, and even asked if I had any other questions or needed help with anything.

Payment was super easy with tap-to-pay using my card — no running to the bank for coins like I had to do at the other place. They also have a vending machine with detergent, drinks, snacks, and some kid-friendly options. The whole space felt quiet and roomy, which I really appreciated as someone who’s pretty introverted.
Overall it was such a nice, low-stress experience. I got everything done comfortably and left feeling good about the whole visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, safe, and friendly laundromat”
