“My new local convenience mart... Just mere skips from home... This could be dangerous... I've been in so much just for super lotto and various scratcher as well as the occasional night cap or day snack. They have an easy but well utilized layout with small isles of items and plenty of room to navigate about. Metro Liquors off Magnolia and Van Nuys Blvd is a family run mum and pop biz with a lot of wonderful people who run it. They run out of Topo Chico often, my absolute seltzer obsession, but they have plenty of good craft brew options not to mention a solid selection of wine and spirits. Being a neighborhood market of sorts they do carry those small personal hygienic items, accessories, canned food, condiments, paper goods and even some pet related items as there are lots of dog owners and lovers in the area. Technically on the corner of Tilden and Magnolia off a small residential street just behind the Acura of Sherman Oaks dealership... You can find a fair amount of easy parking close by or if your in the area... It's a very easy one day entrance/exit for access. There's usually a good movie or TV show on the screen they have on the floor which I sometime stop and enjoy with whoever is on duty for a beat. Definitely worth checking out even for just some of the best customer service in LA, hands down.”

“I can only judge this place based on my experiences and everyone else must go from there. All I will say is the selection of products is interesting and the prices could be better. However, I love my lady behind the counter!! She’s super sweet!! And the other guy looks like he belongs to an 80’s metal band and is aloof, but he’s still cool……….. Go and check out what they have for your weekend pregame.!!?? make sure you check out all those random single beers they have”
“The staff is very friendly and the place gives off a homey vibe. It is definitely not your usual liquor store but that's what makes it unique. There are a lot of homeless people around but what do you expect, it's LA! The owner is a very funny guy so long as you're not a pain in the a**. Be kind and respectful and the store will reciprocate that.”
